STRIKE A SUMMER BALANCE between routine & relaxation:
Endless summer days are not relaxing with a toddler. In fact, meltdowns happen more with endless totally unplanned days. But they can be relaxing even when you are away. My recipe for relaxation during vacation or on lazy days includes a bit of structure & keeping basic routines for familiarity. It will make your days happier, more relaxed and your toddler happier, too! What works for you to have relaxation in summer with young children? I always found that a little planning and keeping bedtimes close to usual was key!
