Did you know that pairing an iron-rich food with something high in vitamin C (like steak with peppers or chicken with lemon) helps your body absorb more iron?

But… tea, coffee and even milk can block absorption if taken too close to your meal. Try to keep these at least 2 hours apart from iron-rich foods.
