rit dynamic. She is insightful and intuitive and has a deep understanding and objective eye to bring awareness to blindspots and aid in healing on a deep and intrinsic level. Her processes are spontaneous based on what presents in your body, your conversation and intention so she can guide you to a curiosity about experiences and how to file them and integrate them in an empowering way. Kerry likes to provoke or inspire your own awareness starting in your body and following the stories that arise there into resolving stuck and hardened, defensive or protected places. Kerry has a natural curiosity and this will take you into the rabbit hole of your own psychology, thinking patterns and habits and assumptions so that you can see clearly for yourself. Feeling safe in your body is the first step and then approaching the personality and its interactions that are causing chaos in your life, and processing these through your body energy systems is what is possible. Through releasing the dense energy we experience physically (tight muscles, stuck places), we open to the subtle energy that is healing and brings us to a true knowing of ourselves.

When I decided to make my life a living ceremony, my attention changed.
Instead of listening to the repeated inner "myself" - the habitual, conditioned, learned persona,
I started to see and hear differently. (Consequently, I developed a deafness in 1 ear but it's all related, and that's another story).

It's a tricky one to recognize an old programmed thought or belief arriving and to choose differently.
The familiar is sought after by our nervous systems, even if it's painful, uncomfortable, destructive.
Whatever we have learnt, is our blank canvas and moments superimpose on to that, translated by it.

For a couple years now, new wisdom has been coming through nature, for me. .
For a year, heron showed up, in the most random, non-heron kind of places, for 6 months, stink bugs have arrived to give me guidance, also in what would seem to be random places or situations, but all relevant. Gecko has been around a lot longer but less frequently.

And birds, oh, if I have a next life, I want to be a huge bird, a Condor or eagle for example.

My point is, we are nature.
We are connected.
It is our lack of investing our attention in the mystical, magical web of all that is life, that keeps us fighting a 'good' fight, feeling alone.

Instead we invest in this web.... on our screens.

This is not a post about yoga.
This is a poem about your relationship to body and breath

*Your body knows*

Your body has a rhythm
An impetus to move and be by itself
A movement towards our away from something
It isn't linear
It doesn't think

It moves
It moves with breath
And the breath moves
Your breath
Breathes
And you move

A dance
Poetry in motion

When your breath is small
Or stifled
Or jagged
Or limping
The inner compass is spinning
The waves in different storms
Telling new stories

When the breath is slow
And rhythmic
And deep
It will change your body
And movement
And how you think

Your body listens
And in the rhythm
Slowing down
Unwind
Breathe out till empty
Do you dare
And pause to receive in
Gulp of air
A softening through every cell
Did you ever breathe in so full and well
So profoundly self honoring
Just by emptying

Let go of the outbreath
And wait
The pause between beats
Making music with your breath
And sacred your living
And thoughts take on
This inner rhythm
Metronome of moments
Held in peace
Breathe out to empty,
To receive

Curiosity in movement

Clear and direct instructions to the body, empowering neural pathways for a feedback loop from mind to body, body to mind

The body is listening
To your inner dialogue, outward conversations, attitude you hold,
And does what it can to MAKE IT TRUE

Manifest by first creating a body mind relationship that is curious
Holds enough space to hear the body wisdom
To let the body show you some hard truths you've been habitually nurturing

As the body sits in the mind,
Not separate,
Our first lessons in one-ness, in connection, in partnership
Create, with curiosity, using what your mind thinks, corroborate through the body to see the false ideas, cooperate with the body, to release what no longer serves you, and create symbiotic sacred harmony from within.

Holding our breath, on purpose, with attention, creates an enormous amount of transformation of our vitality.

Counting the breaths and counting the lengths of breaths, creates an enormous amount of Focus and concentration in stillness.

After 25 years of breathing, on purpose, I can tell you, it has become my refuge.

I see my mind in my breath, and integrate stories and stress and contraction into peacefulness. It is instant.

But it's not, because it has taken 25 years of practise.

Our classes are small, with focussed attention, and guidance, where you can experience more of your intrinsic self - your power, your ease, your strength, your vulnerability, your stillness, your peace, your fitness, your flexibility, your joy.

Kerry Weavind, creator of Indie Yoga has been practicing and teaching for 20 years and has embodied the language of yoga, the gift of yoga, over a 20 year exploration. This experience is priceless in your journey with yoga - she understands every level of development in yoga, most possible experiences as she has gone through them all. Join us to be guided in the most powerful way to heal yourself and give yourself the gift of your BEST SELF.

Yoga is not prescriptive - there are guidelines to poses but there are more body types...Kerry understands how to get into a pose, how to guide your body, the mind-body relationship that opens up the body, and with these tools, you can access more than you thought possible.
