✨ From G Cup to C Cup - and a whole new balance
Breast reduction is more than a cosmetic change. For many patients, it’s a transformation in comfort, posture, mobility, and confidence.
In this case, we reduced the breast size from a G cup to a C cup, while reshaping and lifting the breast to create a more youthful, balanced contour.
Swipe through to see the progression:
• Before surgery: Large, heavy breasts with significant drooping (ptosis).
• 6 weeks after surgery: Shape already improved, but scars are still early in the healing process.
• 3 months after surgery: Breast shape continues to settle and scars begin to soften.
🔬 Understanding Breast Reduction Scars
One of the most common questions patients ask is about the scars.
Breast reduction scars typically follow an “anchor” or inverted-T pattern around the ar**la, vertically down the breast, and along the fold underneath.
But what many people don’t realize is that scars evolve dramatically over time.
⏳ Scar healing timeline:
• First 6 weeks:
Scars may look pink, firm, or slightly raised. This is completely normal and part of the early healing phase.
• 3–6 months:
Scars begin to flatten, lighten, and soften as collagen remodeling occurs.
• 6–12 months:
The scars continue to fade and become less noticeable, blending more naturally with the surrounding skin.
• 1 year and beyond:
This is when scars have typically fully matured, appearing much softer, flatter, and lighter than they did early on.
✨ In other words: the scars you see early are not the scars you’ll have long term.
And while scars are part of the journey, for most patients the relief from neck pain, back pain, and the improved body proportions make the procedure life-changing.
Every breast reduction is tailored to the patient’s anatomy and goals - balancing size reduction, shape, symmetry, and long-term scar quality.
