Ashleigh Caradas is a registered dietician and yoga instructor who is committed to helping you make the shift to a healthier you. Ashleigh holds a bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Medical honours degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Cape Town. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2008 and gives private and group classes and also runs a Registered Yoga School for aspiring teachers.

LOOKING FOR A DIETITIAN IN CAPE TOWN?

Hi, I’m Ashleigh Caradas — a registered dietitian with over 20 years of experience in private practice.

I’ve recently relocated from Johannesburg to Cape Town, where I’ve set up a practice in Sea Point. I also offer remote consultations and continue to visit Johannesburg about once a month to see clients in person.

My passion lies in making nutrition science practical, relatable, and inspiring. I love helping people take control of their health, build lasting habits, and ultimately achieve real, sustainable results.

In addition to weight management, I have a special interest in complex medical conditions, including gut disorders, hormonal imbalances, and autoimmune diseases.

A little about me outside of work: I’m an avid traveler and passionate foodie. I stay active with a mix of weight training, yoga, and long walks. I also teach yoga (when I can find the time!) and moonlight as a professional DJ.
