It is with great sadness that I have finally closed my practice. I have treated many wonderful patients over the years and I am having to say goodbye. My family and I are off on our new adventure to New Zealand! Would love to see how you are all getting on, please stay in touch!

Following my post on Monday after my 2nd COVID vaccine I had many comments about the risks especially blood clots

You may have heard or read about the Astra Zeneca vaccines being placed on hold due to some concerns about blood clots

However to put this risk into context we need to look at the risk of blood clots with other things

And a recent systematic review demonstrated that the biggest risk of blood clots is actually the COVID virus itself, not the vaccines

Again I can understand the concern and doubts many have when the media and others keep talking about these risks

But try to look at the science and data and consider the risks of NOT having the vaccine just as much as having it!
