Is your phone or screen the reason your neck's always in a mood?
Your head weighs about 5kg (like a bowling ball 🎳). But when you tilt it forward to scroll or text, that load can jump to 27kg—the weight of a 7-year-old child pressing down on your spine. 😳

No wonder your neck gets stiff, sore, or tired after screen time.
✨ Try this:
✔️ Gently tuck your chin
✔️ Sit tall with shoulders relaxed
✔️ Bring your screen up to eye level

Small shifts, big relief.

Hello again 👋 It’s been a while!

I realised I haven’t posted since December — and there’s a good reason for that… I’ve been navigating yet another move of premises! 🏃‍♀️📦✨

If you’ve ever moved house or office (or both at the same time 😅), you’ll know it can be a lot. Between bubble wrap, boxes, and broadband installations, I’ve had to take a bit of a social media breather.

But I’m happy to share that I’m now settled into my new space and ready to welcome you back — whether it’s for physiotherapy or private yoga :)

📍New location: Chapel Ave, Bryanston
🕊️ Still the same warm, welcoming space — just a new home

Thank you for your patience, support, and understanding during this time. I’ll be sharing more regularly again — with tips, insights, and a few behind-the-scenes moments too.

Pop by and say hi, I’d love to see you!

🧘‍♀️ Struggling with Tight Muscles or Recurring Injuries? 🧘‍♂️

If you’re dealing with muscle tightness or find yourself constantly battling nagging injuries, yoga might be the solution you need! 🌟 Studies show that yoga improves flexibility to ease muscle tension, strengthens key areas to support joints, and enhances balance to prevent falls and missteps. Plus, it builds body awareness, so you can catch discomfort before it turns into injury.

Whether you’re an athlete or just trying to get through the day pain-free, yoga helps you move better and feel stronger! 💪✨

🌿 Why Yoga is Helpful for Managing Chronic Pain? 🌿

Living with chronic pain can be tough, affecting not just your body but also your mental and emotional well-being. Yoga can be a powerful tool in managing pain holistically, and here’s why:

Improves Physical Function: Yoga involves gentle movements that help improve flexibility, strength, and mobility. Yoga practice can significantly reduce pain intensity and make everyday activities easier to manage.

Reduces Stress: Pain and stress are linked! Yoga focuses on breathwork and relaxation, which can activate your body’s natural relaxation response, easing stress and reducing pain perception.

Boosts Emotional Resilience: Dealing with ongoing pain can take a toll on your mental health. Yoga promotes mindfulness and helps cultivate emotional resilience.

Enhances Sleep Quality: Pain can disrupt sleep and sleep deprivation heightens pain perception. Yoga has been shown to improve sleep quality to help break the cycle.

Regulates the Nervous System: Yoga helps to calm the nervous system, reducing pain perception.

🌸🧘‍♀️If you're curious about how yoga might fit into your chronic pain management, I’m here to help guide you on this journey.
