In an incredible milestone for human rights, Kenya has officially recognized people born with natural variations in s*x characteristics by introducing โ€œinters*xโ€ as a s*x marker option on birth certificates! This is a powerful move towards greater legal recognition, bodily autonomy, and visibility for inters*x individuals.

A huge congratulations to the tireless inters*x human rights defenders in Kenya and around the worldโ€”your hard work and advocacy have made this achievement possible. This victory brings us closer to a future of equality, respect, and understanding for all.

Letโ€™s continue to celebrate and amplify the voices of inters*x people as we work together toward more inclusive societies. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ

We are deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic and senseless killing of Muhsin Hendricks, the worldโ€™s first openly gay imam. Muhsinโ€™s life and work were dedicated to promoting inclusivity and tolerance within Islam, providing a safe space for LGBTQ+ Muslims, and advocating for love and acceptance.

His death is not just a personal loss; it is an attack on the values of equality, freedom, and respect for all individuals, regardless of their s*xual orientation.

We stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ Muslim community, and we strongly condemn this horrific act of violence. The investigation must be thorough, and justice must be served.

No one should ever live in fear of persecution or violence for simply being who they are. We call for an end to hate, and for unity and respect for diversity in all our communities.

Rest in peace, Muhsin Hendricks. Your legacy will continue to inspire and uplift many. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ’”
