Beautifulmind I work with adults and children and I place emphasis on working with the nervous system. Becoming aware of your felt self is a great resource for change.

I help adults and children reduce stress and ease chronic pain through re-patterning the brain using Somatic movement. Beautiful Mind offers a unique variety of somatic movement forms to suit each individual’s needs. We integrate health and wellbeing by addressing both the body and the mind as a co-functioning system, and aim to enhance body awareness through movement which is unique in itself. Emphasis is placed on working with the nervous system, where adults and children can reduce stress and ease chronic pain through repatterning the brain using somatic Movement. When you learn to become more aware of yourself through movement you can let your body’s inner wisdom guide you to make wiser choices. Monja Boonzaier from Beautiful Mind says; I have learnt that stress switches one into automatic pilot mode (sympathetic state/Fight and flight) and then it is not easy to slow down, most of us only know how to push ourselves to our absolute limit. It is very difficult to get out of this place as it is not easy to shift learnt behavioral patterns. When we can learn to move and pay attention to ourselves it brings us into a calm state. When our system produces serotonin, oxytocin (feel good hormones) and melatonin (sleep hormone) which puts us into a calm state (Parasympathetic nervous system) and when we are calm our body and mind can reconnect.

Movement for Living Well invites seniors to gently explore the question of well-being through guided sessions that nurture both body and mind. With intentional movements and mindful focus, participants rediscover comfort, coordination, and confidence—whether it's turning in bed, reaching for clothing, or simply standing with ease.

Many older adults reduce their activity due to pain, fear of falling, or stiffness. However, a lack of movement can exacerbate these issues. This program reintroduces movement in a safe and empowering manner, enabling participants to remain mobile, independent, and mentally engaged.

✨ Sharper thinking
✨ Greater ease in daily activities

During our Feldenkrais sessions, you'll learn to observe your body sensations and focus on how you move. You'll learn to concentrate on your body without judgment and earn to identify and change your physical tension patterns. You'll learn to relax your body and nervous system.
