​This evening, our team headed out to Springs to collect V. His addiction to w**d and crystal m**h had his life going down a one-way road—and that road was leading nowhere fast.

​But tonight, the cycle broke. 🙌

​V wanted help. He took the brave first step and reached out to his parents, who immediately contacted us. Recognizing the urgency, we moved in fast. We safely collected V and transported him to our long-term men’s facility.

​Tonight, he gets a good, safe night's rest. Tomorrow morning, his real journey to recovery begins. 💪✨

This is why dynamic, professional interventions are so necessary. 🛑💪

​Today, our team executed a high-stakes crisis intervention for "K" in Newlands. His sister had reached out to us, absolutely terrified. K has been suffering from Drug-Induced Cannabis Psychosis—a condition that seemed to completely take over at night. Once darkness fell, the madness would show itself, scaring his mother and sister to death and putting an extreme amount of pressure on his sister's marriage. The family was living in constant fear.

​We intercepted K right in the street outside his sister’s flat. We waited for him to step out of his vehicle and then made our move.

​Once K realized what was happening, his survival instincts kicked in. He tried every trick in the book to get back into his car, begging us to just let him close his window—but our team knew exactly what he was planning. He wanted to make a run for it.

​All while this was unfolding, his mother stood on the sidelines in tears, begging us: "Please don't let him go. Just take him." 💔

​We did not let him go. Much to the immense relief of his family, we safely secured K and transported him to our long-term men’s facility. He is now officially booked in, safe, and on the true road to recovery. The nighttime terror for this family is finally over. 🙏✨

​We were contacted by E’s mom out in Kagiso. She knew that drastic action was needed to put an end to the destructive lifestyle her son was living—especially since he is only 17 years old with his whole life ahead of him.
​The incredible part? E was completely willing and genuinely wanted to enter a recovery program to change his life. Having that willingness at such a young age is already half the battle won! 🌟
​We safely transported him to our long-term men’s facility, where he is now officially on his way to building a much brighter, healthier future. We are so proud of this young man for choosing a better path, and we are sending so much love to his brave mom.

​On Tuesday, our team headed out to Orange Farm for a crisis intervention for "A." His sister reached out to us because she simply couldn't sit back and watch her brother kill himself anymore. A’s he**in addiction wasn't just destroying his own life—it was negatively affecting the entire family.
​When we arrived to collect him, the relief in the home was palpable. His mother was overjoyed, knowing her son was finally leaving to get the healing he so desperately needed.
​Naturally, A was terrified. His biggest worry was the brutal reality of withdrawal, and he was begging his family for money to use one last time just to avoid getting sick. But we came prepared! We already had the necessary m**hadone on hand to manage his detox. We gave him his first dose right there and then, assuring him that we would get him through the withdrawals safely and comfortably. You could see the instant relief on his face.
​We safely transported A to our men’s facility, where he is now almost through his detox period! Very soon, he will be ready to officially start his recovery program and rebuild his life. ✨

​Four months ago, our team stepped in for a forceful intervention with "B" in Bez Valley, just outside Hofland Park. To say he wasn't happy would be an understatement. He was in major denial, trying every trick in the book to convince us we were making a massive mistake. He even told us he’d just gotten a car and was ready to start his Uber business again.
​But our team has heard all the stories before. We knew what was at stake, so we pushed forward anyway.
​Fast forward to today: B has officially completed the program! 🎉
​He completely surrendered to the process, put in the hard work, and today, he is a changed man. Driving him home, you could physically see the transformation and feel his genuine excitement to be back with his family. He even looked us in the eye and thanked us. He now realizes that what we did wasn't out of nastiness—it was to save his life.
​B has his head screwed on straight and his life firmly back on track. He is so ready to go home, work hard for his family, and raise the beautiful baby his mom has been looking after while he got well.

​When N from Mabopane decided he’d finally had enough and was ready to beat his addiction, he took that massive first step. Luckily, he was still a dependent on his dad's medical aid and managed to secure a bed at one of our incredible partner facilities.
​But then came a major roadblock: He had absolutely no way to get there. 🛑
​The facility reached out to us, and there was no way we were going to leave him hanging—not when he wanted recovery this badly!

Our second critical intervention yesterday took our team all the way to 350 km's out of joburg to assist a desperate family.

​We were contacted by a father who reached his breaking point after learning his son, M, had just been suspended from his mining job after testing positive for cannabis. Combined with M's increasingly erratic behavior and an aggressive "don't care" attitude lately, his father knew that waiting around was no longer an option. Action was needed immediately.

​When our team arrived on the scene, M denied everything—claiming he knew nothing about a workplace test or any drug use. We ran an on-the-spot drug screen, and the results spoke for themselves: positive.

​Beyond the test result, it was clear to our experienced team that M was deep in a state of Cannabis-Induced Psychosis. In this heightened psychiatric state, a standard rehab placement isn't immediately possible. Safety and stability must come first.

​We have safely admitted M into our partner psychiatric ward, where medical professionals will stabilize his mental state. Once he is clear and stable, he will be transferred to one of our partner facilities to officially begin his road to sustainable recovery.

Yesterday, our team travelled out to Rustenburg for a critical follow-up intervention. We were there to pick up K... once again.
​Back in January, we first stepped in when K... was suffering from severe, drug-induced psychosis brought on by crystal m**h addiction. We placed him into our high-care medical aid facility, where he successfully completed the initial program. Tragically, within just three weeks of returning home, the triggers took over and he suffered a severe relapse.
​When we reached him yesterday, his psychosis was profoundly worse than the first time. This is the devastating reality of addiction—it is a progressive disease that gets aggressively heavier with every relapse.
​This time, a different approach is needed. We have safely placed K... into our long-term men’s facility. Over the next 9 months, our team will work closely with him to build a rock-solid foundation, equipping him with the practical, daily tools needed to live life on life's terms—completely clean and sober.
​Recovery is rarely a straight line, but giving up is never an option. If someone you love is spiraling, we are ready to step in.
