SARS has introduced a new PAYE registration procedure on e-Filing, and employers should be prepared for additional verification steps.

Key updates include:
📌 SARS may request company-specific information for cross-referencing
📞 SARS may contact the Public Officer directly
🏢 The Public Officer may be required to visit a SARS branch
🧬 Biometric verification is now mandatory before the PAYE registration can proceed
❗ If contact details aren’t up to date or SARS communication is missed, the application may be rejected and must be restarted

The CIPC recently introduced changes to the company deregistration process, moving from a manual system to a fully automated process.

Here’s what you should know:

✅ A formal objection period is now included
