Gaza Emergency Appeal
A relentless and brutal offensive has been unleashed by thr occupying forces upon the vulnerable citizens of the Gaza Strip. Since noon October 7th, their aircraft have rained down torrent of destruction, leaving innocent lives in ruins and homes reduced to rubble. Over 413 innocent souls perished, with more than 2300 left wounded. The relentless assault also saw 150 homes reduced to ashes and 74 000 displaced within the initial 24 hours. Thousands have been forced to flee due to the unrelenting barage, particularly in areas bordering the entity state.
People sought refuge in UNRWA schools, while countless others found shelter with relatives and friends in areas considered marginally safer, though the truth is that there is no place safe in Gaza.
Now, as the occupation forces announced power cuts, Palestinians are left with only 4 hours of electricity each day, their sole window to connect with the outside world.
Furthermore, the lack of electricity threatens to cut off water supply to homes, and many bakkies in Gaza are shutting down due to their heavy reliance on electricity.
There are countless human stories and shocking realities that cannot be fully expressed within these confines-truths only comprehensible to those who've lived in Gaza and endured its hardships. Yet, the time for action is now. It's time to rally for Gsza and it's people.
