The World’s First and No. 1 Soccer Specific Play Programme for children from 6 months to 5 years

Socatots is the world’s first soccer specific play programme for children from 6 months to 5 years old. Socatots is a unique fun based program aimed at giving children their very first start with a ball. All Socatots sessions are led by staff who have undergone comprehensive and regular international training courses. The Socatots staff have been certified in child protection, first aid and health and safety courses. Our primary aim is to help encourage all aspects of mental and physical development using football as a medium. On completion of a Socatots programme a child will be fully confident on the ball and have developed basic all round football skills in dribbling, passing and control of the ball. Socatots aims to provide children with a well-rounded start to their physical, educational and social development. All Socatots equipment is specially designed for children to develop physical skills of agility, balance and co-ordination. From skittles, hoops and beanbags to balance boards and specially designed balls of various weights and sizes to develop different skills. Every activity is intended to improve motor skills, but more importantly they are designed to be creative and fun. The Socatots Sessions Feature:

I was in Port Harcourt a few weeks ago at the invitation of the River States Sports Commissioner to attend the annual Governors Cup. I eavesdropped on a conversation between our cameraman Thandazani Zimbwa and a ball boy who informed him he dreams of becoming the next Jay Jay Okocha of Nigeria.
