Known and loved around the world for his commitment to peace, negotiation and reconciliation
Today, in line with this year’s theme: “It's still in our hands to combat poverty and inequity.” Kunokhanya, is proud to roll up sleeves and participate in efforts to combat poverty and inequity.
Staff and students are out in action at orphanages, shelters, schools etc.

NURSE TRAINING
Can we all be nurses?
Do we all qualify to train as nurses?
Someone has to be a Home-Based Personal Care Assistant, SAQA ID 104779
Someone has to perform general caregiving duties, such as Personal Care, Hygiene, Grooming, Checking Vital Signs, Administering Medicine (orally), Dressing Wounds, etc. Someone has to follow the direct orders of a nurse or doctor to administer patient care.
If you do not qualify to be a nurse, then come to Kunokhanya to train as Home-Based Personal Care Assistant.

Entry Requirements (Minimum): NQF Level 1 or Grade 9
Duration of study: Six 6 months. It has Theory, Practical and Work Place Training.
Age: There is no age limit. Learners must be adequately mobile to execute the work requirements of the course.
Registration period: Not later than 28 June 2025
