🙋Why is this Vitamin C different from other liposomal Vitamin C supplements?
🙋Other liposomal Vitamin C supplements come in a single bottle; why not LivOn?
Liposomal supplements must be protected from heat and oxygen to maintain stability. Opening the bottle to remove a dose exposes the remaining product to heat, light, and oxygen. This can can cause rapid degradation.
Uni-dose packaging protects the product from oxygen until moments before consumption, keeping it safe and effective through the shelf-life of the product.
🙋Other liposomal Vitamin C supplements taste sweet and fruity; why not LivOn?
Some liposomal Vitamin C supplements list dextrose and maltodextrin as other ingredients on their labels, aka. sugar. They achieve superior taste by using sugar.
We do not use sugar — regardless of the technical name for it that looks scientific on a label — and will not use sugar because that will make our product less healthy.
🙋Other liposomal Vitamin C supplements are cheaper than yours; why is this?
Many other “liposomal” Vitamin C supplements may just be emulsions. To make a liposome big enough to hold a nutrient, you need at least an equal ratio of phospholipids to key nutrients. That means at least 1,000 mg of phospholipids for each 1,000 mg of Vitamin C.
A real liposomal encapsulation process is also expensive as it requires sophisticated machinery and trained operators.
🙋Other liposomal Vitamin C supplements are in capsules; why aren’t yours?
Buying a liposomal product in a capsule likely doesn’t contain liposome-encapsulated nutrients. For a liposomal product to contain liposomes, it needs water. Review the ingredient list of any “liposomal” capsule product, and see if you find water. Without water — and a bona fide liposomal manufacturing process — there are no liposomes.
