TAROT FROM CELTIC ORIGIN

Tarot is an ancient method of bringing information from the past and present to give a gateway to the future.
Knowing the future gives opportunity to make decisions ahead of time to change the events predicted.
Tarot has been linked to the Egyptians but were mostly dated back to the 15th century approx. 1440 ad.
The cards were used by many people of position by readers in their employ and often read daily or if at war as the circumstances required it.
This was true of the Napoleonic wars as Tarot played a large part for Napoleon and his wife Josephine who also had her cards read daily.
These cards that I use are Maddonni design which I have had for over 40 years which I purchased from a specialist tarot card shop on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, half way between Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace.
Although there were many types of card I was told that the cards would pick me and as I went through the colourful theatrical cards and magicians cards I saw these old designed cards which I was drawn to and these were the ones which picked me.
There are various methods of reading using the major and minor arcana. The cross, past present and future, simple and chakra.
My method differs in the way that I have been reading over the years and I try to give as much information as possible based on my preferences.
1. The subject should be the one who shuffles and selects the cards. The reason being that their psyche and core would have the opportunity to select solely for them.
2. I work with 7 card draw PAST-PRESENT-FUTURE-THE ROAD-ENVIRONMENT-OBSTACLES and RESULT
3. I also extend the draws to 3 levels the reasoning being that if it was a target the first draw would give the rough detail the second draw would refine this and the third draw would get closer to the point.
4. With these draws comes quite a lot of links between the various cards on the three level which requires some time to analyse and is therefore not immediate due to the complexity of the details.
5. I would then write the findings for the subject to take with them as reference in place of trying to remember all the details and for my feedback as to the accuracy of the reading.

I have had very good results from these readings and have had many return clients. The details may not be rosy at times but all details need to be brought to the surface to achieve a good reading and enable the subject to take action as they see fit if required.

The ouija board.
Lots of people have watched the scarey movies and the things that happen through the ouija board so they either keep away from t or the non-believers have the spirit afo disbelief to get people to join them. As seen in the movies not without consequence.
I had been living my life without thinking about all things spookie as I was in my teens and the tesosterone was pumping so it was the last thing on my mind although a couple of times after major parties and a bit hung over I used to kip out on the old graveyard next to the bus stop in the cityn centre. Great plac to sleep no noise and nobody want to go and inspect a body on a gravestone in the middle of the night. Highly recommended by me.
A couple of years went by and I was in company at a flat in town mixed couples not drunk just happy when someone said lets play glassy, just a diy ouija board. I was not keen and I let it be known but that just perked the interest more and the jibing came, as most though I was a bit of the wall so to speak.
Some of the crowd wrote down the letters, numbers and the big Yes and No ten spread them on a coffee table. I was still having nothing to do with it and they started with the questions " who am I going to marry" "will I have a big house" "will I get plenty money" "will I get into Mary's pants this week"all the intelligent stuff.
They then got me involved as it wasnt really working and as they say your meant to be spookie what are we doing wrong. I told them it has to be a real question with meaning and you need to believe that it can work or it wont.
Ok so they started again "Spirit of the board can you tell me what is my future" nothing "whats wrong with that question" I told its too broad a question and anything can happen over time. They started again "Am i going to marry before I'm 20" but with hardly any movement.
Now they were getting a bit browned off, "Isnt this waht you are meant to do we believe and we ask the simple questions' " Come on and join in if your spookie" I told them no thanks as I have seen the ghosts and heard the spiritualists and it is a big thing to have inside you.
"come on its just a bit of fun have drink and join us" I reluctantly joined them with my whiskey and they all put their fingure on the glass and they jibed me until I placed my fingure on the glass but before they could ask a question it started to move. "ask it a question' I was told. "OK who was the man that stood at the bottom of my mums bed looking after her" I repeated this 3 or 4 times strongly and to the point.
The glass started to move in a circle to shouts of "your pushing it" but the fingures were all relaxed and curved, no straight fingures that could be seen to push the glass.
We stopped then we all put our fingures back on again and I asked again "who was the man at the bottom of my mums bed looking after her" the glass started to move again. I was getting a bit anxious myself as it was not a play thing. The glass gained momentum in a circle, faster and faster while we tried to see who was pushing and who'e fingers were still on it. It was the same as we started, the glass went faster and then shot of the table accross the floor and landed in a s**g carpet.
There was a short silence then some choked laughter but no-one would pick up the glass and no-one was interested in what happened. there was a gesture that we should do it again but a massif lack of response or commitment.
I didnt do this again for nearly 10 years when i was asked to join in with new people in South Africa and there was a story within this ever expanding.

My gran had her spiritualist friends around a few times but the main one of the group was the link to the other side. She told my gran that pete was fine and had his leg back and was at peace and from this feedback my gran was at ease.
I was always sceptical as I was convinced that there were still reminants of the people who had passed still around if you could see them rather than the one link to the ones who had passed on, but later this was to bite me a bit when someone asked me to play the glass with them, similar to ouija board.

After the passing of my grandad my mum and dad bought a house I a new area a bit out of town it was a nice place but the moving in created a bit of a stir as the guy at the bottom of the bed had gone. Just as much as my mum worried about him being there in the first place till things changed for my dad with promotion and new cars and a business on the side with a filling station and taxi office, she now worried on what would happen now that he the protector had gone.
Well it was over a couple of years and things started to be different and it eventually came to a head when my dads car went off the road into a tree and he was hospitalised for some time. When he recovered enough he went to his business but thee was problems with the drivers payments and the till which put him into debt and he sold on the business for next to nothing. Times had turned around.
By this time i was not the best guy on the planet myself and had gotten into many a scrape including fines for bad driving or speeding plus a bit of a bail out on my birthday and you dont have to guess what that was for. In general the wheels had come of in the family a bit and it was put down to the misfortune after the figure had left. It could be just coincidence but remember we are a spookie family and everything happens for a reason.
I was still seeing spooks and I often on my way back from the clubs and pubs I would cut through the graveyards just to keep a look out sounds a bit weird but if your not scared its no big thing.
Everybody has had an experience which they cant explain. For instance if you were living in an older house even sitting watching tv some time something catches the corner of you eye or you feel a bit of a chiver and you at that point are not quite sure. I have be sitting having a cuppa when I think something that went past the window and i is strong enough for me to get up to make sure. Deja vu is another spotter how many times have you thought to yourself I've been here before, or you think you know someone in the street or you know whats going to happen next and it does. These things are hard to explain but you tend to keep them to yourself as you think you would be ridiculed and its only wierd people like me who speak aout it openly.
There are some of you now who are thinking wow that has happened to me, we all have it but some are stronger than other and some have been convinved by others that its rubbish, luckily we have the freedom to believe what we want even if its only kept inside us.
With all this around you can under stand why I was unsure in taking part in the home made ouija board. I'll have to come back to this, speak to you soon

I never really felt scared of ghosts strange noises and visions and always had a feeling I was protected. We never had any major connections for a long time but when my grandad was ill with what we now know as diabetes I moved to my gran's house being the first-born grandchild and very close to my gran and grandad. I went to school from there and settled in. Although my grandad was very ill he was great company he would play the mouth organ or the piano accordion and sing old songs and Scottish songs while my gran now living on very little since my grandad was no longer working would be making food from next to nothing but still smiling and laughing along.
There was no fear, but sympathy for the pain. My grandad got worse as he had already had his toes removed the gangrene had moved into his leg and he was amputated to the knee and had to get a false leg and even then he was calm. He caught me the one day and asked me to sort the sock on his false leg but I couldn't move it, he had nailed the sock on with upholstery tacks.
It was only when the gangrene moved to his hip and he was slowly wasting away that he spoke to my gran and I that he was not going to last much longer and he wanted me to sleep in the bed next to his, he moved into the spare room to help my gran to get some sleep and he felt better when I was around.
I slept in there for a month, and often I would climb on his bed when he would tell me stories of when he was a football player for the Lochee Thistle or United not sure now, it was a long time ago, and when he was in the army ww1 then a warden in the second world war, My great gran Martin and my gran and our link to the fishermen and the whalers where my great grandad used to go out on longboats into the North Sea. I loved it couldn't get enough.
One night while I was sleeping on his bed after the stories he just left his body and was gone. I wasn't scared or upset I felt that he was safe and moved to another place. I still stayed with my gran for a while and one day when I came home there was a ring of people sitting in the lounge with who found out was a woman who was meant to talk to the spirits. The spookie carries on

In my years at the old house, I had seen and heard many odd things. It started when I was very small I woke up and shouted for my dad as I saw a tall dark shape moving down the passage to my room but my dad put it down to the overcoat hanging on the hook at the door and I was imagining it moving. then I heard someone walking across the flat above but when I went upstairs to look the falt was all boarded up. My dad said it must be mice or a bird trapped in the flat but the noise was walking and birds or mice don't wear shoes.
We live upstairs from the street and to get there you had to go up a dark "close" or enclosed walkway through the flats, then past a dungeon-like bomb shelter to get to the stairs then up a flight to get to the door. Quite scary at the best of times for a small lad but when it was dark it was even worse. I would sometime sing at the top of my voice from the time I entered till I got in the house to ward off any funny stuff that might have been about.
Now, this went on for a long time but it came to light when I was at my grans one Sunday where all the family gathered weekly. I heard my mum speaking to my gran and she was telling her about this man standing at the bottom of the bed every night. My gran asked her more detail and my mum said he just stands there but he knows me he acknowledges me. He's a young man and it looks like he's in uniform and he has a happy content way of looking. Jim (my dad) he doesn't see him so I haven't kept on about it. My gran asked the questions and my mum answered. "how long has he been there"
"Since our laddy was born"
"Does he look like he would hurt you"
"No, he looks quite content he hasn't spoken or anything"
"Well if he hasn't hurt you or brought harm to the house that's a good thing, but maybe your worry should come if he ever leaves as it looks like he is watching over you and yours"
Well that confirmed it, they had been keeping all this from me and I had been seeing and hearing somebody it was the man coming to the house every night to stand at the bottom of the bed. I was determined to see him again and my chance would come.
I tried a few times but it was late and I just fell asleep but one night in the light of the landing seeping through the top of the front door I saw a man. He wasn't tall or big as I thought at first he was smaller than my dad's height thin with thick black hair. He was wearing something like an army uniform but had like bandages from his boots to his knees. He did see I was looking at him as he passed and went into my mum and das room.
This was to become a big thing as when I told my mum she whisked me off to my gran to tell the story the main thing being that I could see him too. I would see him again much later when my gran showed me a picture of her brothers and sister and he was one of the brothers.

Post 3 Tarot of Celtic Origin
My Grannie Martin saw fit to bring up her first born, my gran Isabella Baird with the gift. Although she did not advertise or practice her gift openly people were attracted to her to give advice or direction this was seen in its full with the relationship with her first born my mother Charlotte.
My mum was the one that heard the noises and saw the images and in fear, she would go back to my gran and tell her the stories. My gran was a solid strong down to earth sots woman who was not fazed easily and laugh much of it off and sometimes expanded on it telling her own ghost stories in the evening after having their "tea" to my mum her sister and her brother getting them into a bit of a tizzy.
Out of the three, my mum was the only one who saw and heard these strange things and this got stronger as she got older. She married my dad just after WW2 and due to the extent of the return of servicemen, there was a massive shortage of houses and the only one they managed to get was 1 stair up over a shop in a condemned 3 story building with a promise of council housing which was eventually kept 13 years later, which became my introduction to the gift.
The place was spooky already but I never felt scared although strange things were starting to happen. I would hear noises from upstairs and tell my dad and mum and they would say it was an old house talking, I went up there to see what was making the noise but both flats were nailed shut doors and windows just making more questions. Then the shadows, I kept seeing shadows but my mum kept laughing it off and saying you have a very healthy imagination but this was brought to light later by my mum and my gran as I had spent 11 years in this house and I had begun to meet these visitors.

Post 2 Tarot of Celtic Origin
Through the years a gift passed through the generations of mixed Scots and Irish Celts from my spookie family to me, and it is now on its way to the next generation with my daughter.

I can't go back more than four generations as there was not much information available from before my great-grandmother who died in the early 1950's at the age of 95 which makes her birth in the 1850's
I met my Great Grannie Martin when I was very young but she had what you would now call now call presence.

She was of Fisher stock and when I knew her she lived a very frugal life in a small But and Ben in Lochee Scotland. Having lost her husband many years before she still wore the black long dress and tied a scarf over her bushy head of white hair, her aura spread her happiness, blessed joy of the day, and well-being with her life and circumstance.
It sounds like a picture from a shortbread tin but this was as it was.

I intend to share some of the things that have happened over the generations which have directed me the way I am today. This may bring our 4 generations open to public view but I am sure none of them would mind. I am sure their having a giggle, a nip and a call back the past with each other as they look down at this now

Tarot is a gift that has come to me through more than 3 generations, and it is something that will carry on as Nicola has embraced the gift and is honing her craft that one day she will be able to share this on. Some say gift some say rubbish but it's only when you see the light in the eyes of the person across from you realise that this has power
It was time to share

A new step for me is the smudging and blessing
based on the details from Spirituality & Health

If you’re in contact with any part of our materialistic world, you are bound to attract or experience negativity in some form.

After all, opposites attract; like moths to a flame, the light is powerful enough to draw out the darkness from within and from without.
Whether it’s your own shadow issues that surface in interactions with others, or someone else’s bad vibes or resistance you encounter along the journey, accumulated negativity in your space can adversely affect your thoughts, emotions and even your health.
As such, it’s essential to practice regular cleansing rituals to keep your physical and energetic space clean and intact.

One of the best ways to cleanse energy is with regular smudging.
This is one of the services I would like to give as it as always is for the benefit of all. I have been party to seeing the results of this many times and it has always brought well being

10/08/2017

I have been requested some time ago to start reading again. I do say that it is just as amazing to me as to the wonderful people that I have met along the way.

I would like to be able to expand on my details and would request the clients that I have read for to give a small reference based on their experience and their link to the details read.

look forward to speaking to or reading for some of you soon
