Mr Bob Holt spent this whole week making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. He came from overseas with his team to leave a huge mark in South Africa by touching the lives of people with special needs at Vuyiswa Home For disable in Orange Farm. They scraped, and repainted our flaked walls, refurbished our cracked floors and reinstalled new ceiling in our wards, and he's currently building more wards, toilets and showers and the laundry room for our patients. Mr Bob Holt has really made a difference and God has used him mightily. Vuyiswa Home For disable would like to extend its hand of gratitute towards Mr Bob Holt and his amazing team. For they have made a remarkable difference in the lives of people with disabilities

Background: Mrs Vuyiswa Esther Mwahleni founded the home on the 16 July 2003 after a long admittance for cancer in hospital; hence, the home was named after her in recognition of her compassion to affect positively the lives of people with special needs. During her admittance by the hospital, she offered herself to assist nurses with other patients. It was during this moment when she saw a need and developed a passion to care for people who are not cared for, due to their medical condition. This is how the home came into its existence.
