The smallest adjustments can make the biggest difference. ✨ These common form mistakes often separate feeling connected in your movement from creating unnecessary strain, injury, or overuse.

When we get tired, we tend to:
❌ Sink into the standing hip
❌ Lift or scrunch the shoulders
❌ Collapse into the low back

Instead, think:
✔️Long spine before big movement
✔️Shoulders wide and heavy, not lifted
✔️Hips reaching away from the ribs
✔️ Energy traveling up and out rather than down and compressed

Connection creates freedom.
Length creates power.
The goal isn’t tension — it’s organized support.💪

Pilates is a System

Pilates has become a buzz word recently. Yet it is so much more than just exercise. Rather it is designed and structured movements to co -ordinate body, mind, breath and emotions. The core is targeted for stability and balance and it promotes overall functional
strength 💪

Recently I have been playing with more flow and even a softness in ex*****on of the movements, and my clients are responding so well to this. We work towards a better sense of self, (from within) as well as expansion of all movements (to without).🌸

Form Friday- You’ll see this form in almost all our classes so here’s some tips on keeping good form for safe movement.
💥Keep your ribs down and core braced so the movement stays in your shoulders — not your lower back.
💥Press slightly back, keep your elbows stacked under your wrists, and control the squeeze when the weights meet.
💥Light weight done with control > heavy weight with bad form any day!💪
