SOME CHIN MAGIC

Chin augmentation for this lovely patient with use of dermal filler.
_

Almost more often than not, I come across patients with retruded/underdeveloped mandibles( lower jaw) which results in a short looking/stumpy chin. There are of course many different factors at play including dental (teeth) as well as underlying bony structure and their relation to the teeth and soft tissue. Regardless of these, an easy fix is to manipulate the soft tissue. This is easily done in a few minutes by placing a few drops of filler onto the chin to lengthen it to create better balance and structure to the face.

3ml of filler was used to sculpt this chin and note how it elongates the jawline and creating a slimmer more sculpted appearance.
