I was pushing myself past limits that exist for a REASON, and paying dearly for it.
The moment I decided to live WITH my disabilities instead of trying to live AGAINST them, was the moment I actually started living again.
Maybe not living the way YOU would want me to.
Not even the way I had wanted me to in the past...
But living.

I've been struggling with setting boundries recently. I've started a temp assignment that comes with a lot of overtime. Some of it because there's a deadline and I'm frantic to meet it.

The person its hardest to set boundries with is myself. Even after all this time, I have to remind myself that I can't do certain things anymore.

After having a stern talk with myself, I didn't push too hard and the world didn't end.

I'm in the process of setting up an advance directive. It's a good idea to have one in case you can't make medical decisions. Everyone will know what you want done or not done

Maybe now we'll get treatment and recognition that it's a disability.
