This is a gentle reminder that your mental health is part of health. If you’re torturing yourself with a new diet, if you’re punishing yourself through crazy workouts, if you’re berating your body for not fitting your image of health:
Stop.
Something that negatively impacts your mental health is negatively impacting your health.
You are a whole, embodied person. You are more than the size of your thighs, more than a waist circumference, more than a physical body. You have so much more to do and achieve than “look good”.
Your nutrition cheerleader wants to remind you that you need to be nourished and fuelled throughout the day. You need food to DO STUFF.
Your body got you this far through the day, help it get through the rest of the day comfortably nourished and hydrated. Thanks for coming to my TEDtalk 😄
