Our Story

Cospharm is a generic pharmaceutical company based in Windhoek, Namibia with offices in Harare, Zimbabwe and Cape Town, South Africa. The company sells, markets and distributes healthcare products throughout Namibia and Zimbabwe and increasingly in emerging markets within Southern Africa.

The company started in 2010 with one retail outlet in Namibia. With aggressive focus on growth, these retails have since grown to 8 outlets between Namibia and Zimbabwe. In 2014 the company ventured into generic pharmaceutical development. By 2015 a total of 15 products have been registered and a vast pipeline of new products are under registration with various regulatory authorities in Southern Africa.

We project Cospharm to be the fastest growing pharmaceutical company in the next 5 years. With its wide range of Acute antibiotic medicines, Cardiovascular (CVS) medicines, Female Hormone medicines and Impressive NSAID/ Analgesic range, Cospharm expects to be a key market player in the region.

The growth success of the company is attributed in part to highly qualified personnel with a clear pharmaceutical market understanding and in part to its practice of partnering with best manufacturers globally. In this respect Cospharm differs from other generic pharmaceutical companies, who rely on internal expertise and development.
