A recent case reminded us just how important it is to choose your injector carefully. A patient recently visited a bogus injector who offered dermal fillers at a very cheap price. Unfortunately, that “bargain” nearly came at the cost of permanent disfigurement. Procedures like fillers should only be performed by properly trained and qualified medical professionals. Your safety should always come before a low price. Before booking any aesthetic treatment, please take the time to:
• Check the practitioner’s qualifications
• Make sure the clinic is reputable
• Ask about the products being used
• Ensure proper medical consultation is done beforehand doing your research can protect you from serious complications.
