Coming Home to You We are excited to join together to create this platform as an introduction to the work that we love.

As friends for more than 27 years, our lives have intertwined and connected in unique ways that have taken us on new and different paths. We find ourselves in a place in our lives where we have both answered the call to purpose. Part of living our purpose is to develop a more compassionate and kind relationship with ourselves and others. To keep coming back to the depth and wholeness within ourselves that instinctively we know to be home. We share a desire to cultivate lives of meaning and fulfilment, and by working skilfully with the Body, Heart and Mind through Nia and Integral Coaching, we aim to share with and empower others, to do the same.

Join Susan Sloan for a "Beginners Learn the 52 Moves of Nia course" at www.virtualwellness.co.za

The start date is Monday 8th of June 2020 from 16:00 to 17h00.

The course will be every week on Mondays at 16:00 until the 20th of July 2020.

The Price is R3 000 per person for the course or you can build your own dates at R3 500 for your own private 7 week course of lessons.

The course includes the following:
Free access to the Nia class available on the Virtual Wellness schedule (Thursdays at 8am).

All 52 moves of Nia will be learnt during the course starting with the Base moves, then the Core moves and finally all the Upper Extremity moves.

Lesson 1-
Susan will coach you on the 6 Stances (Base- Foundational moves)-30 minutes
You will receive a 30 minute Nia class to music, incorporating the moves learnt in the lesson

Lesson 2-
Coaching on the 8 Foot Moves (also part of the Base- Foundation moves) -30 minutes
You will receive a 30 minute mini Nia class to music -incorporating the moves learnt in the lesson

Lesson 3-
Coaching on the 4 Kick moves (also part of the Base-Foundation moves)- 30 minutes
You will receive a 30 minute mini Nia class to music-incorporating the moves learnt in the lesson

Lesson 4-
Coaching on the 9 Step Moves (also part of the Base- Foundation moves)-30 minutes
You will receive a 30 minute mini Nia class to music -incorporating the moves learnt in the lesson

Lesson 5-
Coaching on the 7 Core Moves (part of the Core of the body-the 3 body weights; pelvis, chest, head)
You will receive a 30 minute mini Nia class to music- incorporating the moves learnt in the lesson.

Lesson 6-
Coaching on the 7 Hand Moves & 3 Arm moves (part of the Upper Extremities of the body)
You will receive a 30 minute mini Nia class to music -incorporating the moves learnt in the lesson

Lesson 7-
Coaching on the 8 Finger Moves (part of the Upper Extremities of the body)
You will receive a 30 minute mini Nia class to music

The purpose of learning these moves is to help you develop a movement vocabulary you can use in life to self-heal and in your workout to get the most benefits. The moves address all parts of the body. Practicing them one by one will train your mind and body and prepare you to move with greater confidence.

The Nia class workout offers the promise of a body centered workout with direct access to achieving the joy of movement every time, no matter what fitness level, age or size you are!
