Lateral Epicondylitis (aka tennis elbow), is a common overuse injury that causes pain on the outside of the elbow, often from repetitive gripping, lifting, or wrist movements. 🏓

Bruising after dry needling? You and me both 🫣😂 Good thing is that mild bruising after dry needling is completely normal and should fade within a few days after treatment. In the meantime, you just make up dramatic stories about how you go the bruises. 🤪

The excitement on a patient’s face when they come for their follow-up and you can see they genuinely can’t wait to tell you how much better they feel. 🥹

ACL repairs or any knee injuries🦵🏼

Go-to coffee order:
Latte 😍 (with a side of doughnut from ) 🍩

Favourite food:
Pizza 🍕

Hobbies:
Cycling, anything outdoors, talking to our deaf dog, book > TV, shopping, running, spending time with friends and family, painting (even though I’m really bad at it) 🤪

Strapping your lower back can help with pain and support, especially during flare-ups. 🏅 This is one of our favourite techniques to use in practice (in conjunction with a full assessment, hands-on treatment and a tailormade rehab plan.)

NB:
Tape doesn’t make you stronger. If we don’t improve strength, endurance, and load tolerance, we’re only managing symptoms.

Day 10 post knee arthroscopy and meniscus repair. 🔍 This is a minimally invasive procedure used to diagnose and treat joint problems such as meniscus tears, cartilage damage, ligament injuries, or persistent knee pain.

🏃🏼‍♀️ Post-op we focus on reducing pain and swelling, restoring mobility, rebuilding strength, and safely returning the patient to normal function and sport.

⏳ I recommend continuing out-patient physio as soon as possible after the procedure. Early and consistent physiotherapy is key to improving long-term outcomes.
