I read a very interesting article in Time magazine regarding MINDFULNESS for MEN. It talks about the benefits of guys doing yoga and from analyzing several journal articles, they found the following:
1. Men are more satisfied, have a better self image and an improved s*x life;
2.Regular yoga reduced stress, anxiety and depression while improving memory;
3.Yoga gave men substantially better posture and balance - which is so important in preventing falls and injury;
4. Daily yoga was linked to lower blood pressure and cholesterol in men;
5. The research also suggests that regular yoga might improve sleep quality and duration.
