Cleansers

You've been washing your face long before you cared about pores, crow's feet and discoloration and now have it down to a breezy routine. But, cleansing isn't as easy as it seems, and the formula you are using can have dramatic effects on your skin. Here, I explain what cleanser you should be using for your skin type.

♠️Gel cleansers are best for oily/combination skin types because they provide hydration without over-drying. Their gentle yet exfoliating formulas unclog pores, remove excess oil, kill bacteria and buff away dead skin cells. Pick a formula with and a to eliminate future breakouts and fade .

♠️Foam
Nothing is more satisfying than creating a thick lather to remove your makeup and while you may love that squeaky-clean feeling, foam cleansers can dry out the skin. These lightweight formulas contain sodium lauryl sulfate a type of surfactant that chips away at the skin's natural protective barrier. Oily skin is usually unbothered by this but sensitive skin will become inflamed and reddened. There’s something so captivating about beautiful and clear skin.

My personal beauty regimen in this heat is:
1) ALWAYS have lashes- believe me I look like a patient without🙈
2) Wax, shape and use brow gel because brows are a weakness as I’m yet to find a microblading expert to correct the previous procedure-help!
3) Daily cleanse, antioxidant, sunscreen
*on warmer days I tend to skip using moisturiser
* do not forget to REAPPLY sunscreen especially if you are out and about
4) Add a touch of shimmer and highlighter to my cheekbones
5) Neutral & moisturizing lip colour
6) Botox to treat my hyperhydrosis- nothing alluring about wet and unpleasant armpit fragrance
7) Step out and shine
