CALPOL is indicated for symptomatic relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, sore throat, toothache, teething pains and fever associated with colds and flu. This product contains paracetamol; do not take it with other medicines that contain paracetamol. Paracetamol is contained in many medicines to treat pain, fever, symptoms of cold and flu, and sleep medicines.

2. If you have a liver or kidney disease, talk to your doctor before taking paracetamol.

3. Do not take more than recommended dose, as this may be harmful, including serious harm to your liver

CALPOL PAEDIATRIC COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
TERMS & CONDITIONS (‘‘the Rules”)
1. The Calpol Paediatric Promotional Competition (‘‘Competition’’) is organised by Haleon South Africa (Pty) Ltd together with Integer (‘‘Promoters’’) at participating stores such as Shoprite Group, Clicks, PNP and Spar (‘‘Participating stores’’)
2. The Promotional Competition will commence 06 January 2025 and will end 28 February 2025 (“Competition Period”). No entries will be permitted post the Competition Period.

3. The Competition is open to all South African residents over the age of 18 (eighteen) years and in possession of a valid identity document (‘‘Participants’’). Except employees, directors, members, partners, agents or consultants, co-promoters and their associated companies, promotional and advertising agencies and their immediate families, business partners or associates.

4. Participants who enter the competition agree to adhere to the rules that govern the Competition. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or supplement the rules governing the Competition at any time by publishing the amended or supplemented rules on its digital platform or by displaying them in participating stores. Participants will be considered to have accepted the amended or additional rules once they are published on the Promoter's digital platform or in participating stores.
5. Participants stand a chance of winning one of twenty vouchers to the value of five thousand rands (‘‘Prize’’).
6. The vouchers can be used to purchase products available at selected stores nationwide, vouchers are to the value of R5000 and are to the value of goods of purchase only in those outlets accordingly to the winners selection. All vouchers are applicable to these retailers redemption process and the promoter cannot be held responsible for any errors in the retailers processes.
7. Entry Mechanic:
7.1 To participate in the Competition, participants are required to visit any of the participating stores and use the sleeve on the box to enter the competition .
7.2 Participants must dial the USSD number(*120*605 # Rate: R0.20c/min) and follow the prompts to enter the competitions.
USSD cost 20c per 20 sec, free minutes do not apply.
7.3 Participants may enter as many times as possible.
7.4 Entry is not subject to purchase of the product.
8. Selection of Winners
8.1 The winners of the Competition will be randomly selected through a lucky draw by the Promoters and their partners.
8.2 The winners will be announced by the 31st of March 2025.The Promoters and their partners will contact the winner telephonically within 5 working days of the draw date to verify their entry and identity.Should the winner of the prize be unreachable for any reason within this timeframe, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternative winner will be selected.
8.3 Winners must provide consent before their names are made public.
8.4 Winners will be required to provide their name, ID number and contact details and sign an acknowledgement of receipt of the prize. Should the winner fail to provide the above-mentioned details, the winner shall forfeit the prize.
8.5 The promoters and their partners will not provide any compensation if the winner is unable to utilise the prize as specified, regardless of the circumstances.
9. Data and Privacy
9.1 The Participants grant consent to the Promoters, their partners and authorised representatives to collect and process their personal information. All personal contact details and any other details that are received will not be sold but be used to verify the identity of participants and notify Participants of other events, promotions, and competitions.
9.2 By submitting an entry to the Competition, Participants give the Promoters and their partners the right to make use of their photo on any media platform. The winner will be requested to participate in material and marketing activities arising from the Competition at no additional fee, which will include having their photograph shown for marketing purposes.
10. General
10.1 The Promoters and their partners shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged or delayed entries.
10.2 The prize is not exchangeable for any other item and is not transferable.
10.3 The Promoter and their partners reserve the right to alter or cancel the Competition at their own discretion. In the event of such cancellation or alteration, all Participants and the winner shall waive and abandon any rights they may have against the prize fulfilment company, its affiliates or associated companies. The prize fulfilment company may refuse to award any prize if any information or any irregularities or fraudulent activities are detected.
10.4 The decision made by the Promoters and their partners is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
10.5 Participation in the Competition constitutes a binding acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
10.6 Participants’ participation in the Competition and use of the prize is at their own risk.
10.7 Neither the the Promoters and their partners nor their associated agents and companies, nor any directors, officers nor employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the Participants or winners.
10.8 No incomplete entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
10.9 In the event of any dispute, the decision of the the Promoters and their partners will be final.
10.10 In the event of unforeseen circumstance, the Promoters and their partners reserve the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal value. No correspondence will be entered in this regard.
10.11 If the Promoter is unable to reach the winner despite reasonable efforts, the winner will forfeit the prize. The Promoter may then choose to conduct another random draw for that prize at its discretion. The Promoter will not be responsible if a winner does not receive a prize. Winners will be notified of about the date and time for prize collection.
