Memorial Diamonds in their own manufactory in Domat/Ems, Switzerland. ALGORDANZA is dedicated to give infinite continuance to the remembrance of a beloved person. The highly complex creation process of a Memorial diamond is the outcome of their efforts to create something imperishable and equally personal. The idea to isolate carbon from human cremation ashes and create from this carbon source a Memorial Diamond arose in 2003. The following year was filled with investigations on acceptance and technical feasibility. Since 2004 ALGORDANZA is a solid and steadily growing company, represented in over 33 countries today. Happy National Women’s Day 🇿🇦 🤗

This ring celebrates the 3 most important women (2 mothers & my wife) in our family, 30+ years of marriage and our 3 boys - who gives us joy & faith for our future!

The centre diamond was made by Algordanza in Switzerland from our 3 boys hair. The smaller diamonds and gold were re-used from rings we inherited from our 2 mothers, who passed in 2013 & 2015.

In 2018, Natasja & I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary.

They will be discussing how our diamonds have become a rocking trend amongst couples!

During the live broadcast, they will be interviewing Garrick (our son) & his fiancé Janine, via Zoom call here in Johannesburg.
Garrick & Janine recently got engaged and their beautiful engagement diamond was made from hair cuttings from each parent (mine as well 😊) and each one’s siblings. For them, a unique symbol of love and the joining of two families. How cool is that ?
