We wanted to reach out again and thank everyone who helped us get Sannie onto the path of home infusions.π€β€οΈ We realised the value in having her plasma at home in recent weeks, having to use a pead to manually pump her meds in his rooms. Not comfortable at all, although our new pead is absolutely wonderful β
Our warriors first home infusion in Mosselbay has become a family affair. Unfortunately the wrong syringes were sent, resulting in them not fitting into the pump. So we all take turns to manually push the plasma through for San.
Not to worry, as most part of tomorrow will be spent sourcing the right syringes to make this a smooth and comfy process for our fighter. ππ
Recently we visited Prof Esser again and she was so happy with Sannies progress. Her levels are looking good. Whilst COVID is around, we have decided to not test the waters and see if she can maintain without her plasma, just yet. For now, we soldier up once a week, work on cleaning up the diet and adding in the vitamins and minerals through good healthy eating and loads of extra sleep as she often battles with exhaustion.
But we are convinced the fresh sea air and gorgeous sun out here on the garden route will make the world of difference!! βοΈπ
PS: more than year of no hospital visits!! Clearly Beriglobin as a frontline is just what she needs π
