Wrapping up at Living Essence and The Urban Oasis for 2025, I can’t help but feel deep gratitude and take a moment for reflection and acknowledgment:
- To each of our guests and families who stayed at the guest house and helped us maintain Super-host status for the 7th year - we loved getting to know new ones and welcomed back many returners. You are the heart of this place!
- To facilitators, teachers, coaches, wellbeing practitioners and space-holders who used our studio space - you add a very special dimension and richness to the space we love holding for you here.
- To my precious husband and partner for your attentive and deep care as you leave every area of this property better than it was before - deep bow of gratitude. For the weeds you pull, the leaves you sweep and the creepers you nurture and train - I see you. For mastering the creation of the Labyrinth and new garden area around the shed - I marvel at your strength, determination, creativity and tenacity. No words adequately express my appreciation to you here.
We get to live and work here every day and for that more than anything, I am humbled and grateful. We do not take our role as stewards of the space and land lightly, passed on by those who went before us for almost 77 years.
I’ll be taking a break from social media for a time of restoration and will see you again on the other side. Go gently🙏🏻💙🙏🏻💙🙏🏻
