First Aid Training is passionate about saving lives. This page will offer services to equip you with life saving skills and share helpful information.

First Aid Training has developed over many years combining the passion for emergency services with the love of education and helping people. I volunteered for many shifts with the emergency services department in and around Johannesburg, watching many lives being saved through the ability to administer life saving techniques. On the reverse side-many lives are lost when basic skills like CPR were unknown. I have worked as a school teacher for over 10 years and was always responsible for the first aid at the school. It's when passion meets purpose that I am able to gain such satisfaction sharing life saving techniques with other people. Hopefully you never need to use the skills I teach you but if you ever do-I know I will have taught you well..

For anyone who is considering on doing a CPR and or First Aid course, I can highly recommend Tarryn. I have done numerous courses over the years to keep up with contractual obligations and for the first time I’ve walked away confident to reach out and help in an emergency situation requiring CPR.
Tarryn engages her participants in a relaxed manner making learning easier.

KwaZulu-Natal: At 17H03 Monday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a drowning at the Port Shepstone public swimming pool on the KZN South Coast.

According to members of the public, a 3-year-old female child was found face down in the pool.

The child was pulled from the water and found to be unresponsive and not breathing, CPR was promptly initiated by lifeguards.

On arrival of Netcare 911 paramedics, the child was found to be responsive.

Once treated, the child was transported to hospital for further care.

Gauteng: At 09H21 Sunday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Elsie Road in Radiokop Roodepoort.

Reports indicate that two adult males were ejected from their vehicle following a roll-over.

Medics assessed the scene and found that both occupants had sustained critical injuries.

Paramedics treated both patients and once stabilised, one patient was flown by Netcare 911 helicopter to hospital and the second patient transported by ambulance to hospital for further care.
