Proudly brought to you by Yes You Can Motivation (NPO) fixated on youth and disability development. This talent competition dedicated to supporting the disabled community from all walks of life, branded the “Yes You Can Fraternity” ( ) as supported by
• The National Council for Persons with Physical Disability in SA,
• The National Institute for the Deaf,
• Down Syndrome South
Africa, and
• Institute for the Blind and South African Federation for Mental Health, will be the first of its kind boasting with South African (National) Television coverage. Yes You Can Fraternity ( ) serves to unearth gifted disabled individuals earning them the opportunity to walk away with prizes valued to a grand total of R200 000. The competition will span across 7 cities, namely Johannesburg, Stellenbosch, Bloemfontein, Polokwane, Durban, George and Mafikeng respectively, boasting an impressive array of talent categories including:
• Acting, Presentation, Poetry
• Music, Singing, Instrumental, DJ
• Stand-up Comedy, Magician, Circus-Performer, Impersonator
• Dancing
• Sport, Show jumping, Extreme Motor Sport
Interested participants are prompted to complete the entry form, which can be downloaded from www.yesyoucanmotivation.com and submitted together with a 30-second clip of their selected performance. Contestants are thereafter notified via e-mail/telephone whether they have in fact been successful following an elimination process to reach our final 7000 contestants. Executive Producer Helga Barkhuizen will be accompanied by fellow judges Armand du Plessis (current Mr South Africa), Achmat Hassiem (South African Paralympic Gold Medallist) and International Fashion Stylist, Ngugi Velly Vere to choose the World’s First: Yes You Can Fraternity, Disability Talent Show Winner! Entries open on the 1st of April and close on the 31st of May 2015.
