Over the weekend we explored how we, as artists, can extend beyond our canvas with the metaphor of a lotus flower. A lot of what we do for our businesses start off under the water in the mud. But, it is essentially our core values, the lessons we have learned, how we strengthen ourselves and how we connect and present ourselves to the world, that helps us connect with the right people, and create businesses that align with our authentic selves.

At the beginning of 2019, I did a detailed drawing of a house that I wanted to manifest for my new blended family. It had a garden, an outside patio with a fireplace and four equal sized bedrooms. In May of that year, after looking for a few months without luck, we found a house one Sunday afternoon.

It felt as though we could breathe here. The energy surrounding the house was inviting and calm. It immediately felt like home. It didn't look exactly like my picture but it ticked all the boxes and some more, as it was in a secure, boomed off area.

How did I do it? I became part of Co-creating my reality with Spirit. I could sense what the feeling was I needed there, I could see our new family living there. It became a reality in my mind, before we "found" it.

The biggest secret of manifesting is allowing the Universe to show up in ways that are better than what you can think of and trusting, that it will. This does not mean that you sit back and wait, you actively participate and do other things, but you keep trusting and building the feeling of what your life could look like. Until it does.
