PREACHING MOMENTS:
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of His robe filled the temple..." (Isaiah 6:1)
This passage reminds us that even in seasons of uncertainty, transition, or personal lossβGod remains on the throne. When earthly kings fall and familiar structures collapse, heaven is still active. Isaiahβs vision came in a time of national instability, but instead of despair, he was given a divine revelation. He saw the Lord in His full majestyβrobed in glory, surrounded by seraphim, and declared holy beyond human measure.
"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory." (In verse 3)
This is a call to worship, not based on how we feel, but on who God is. His holiness shakes the thresholds, fills the atmosphere, and demands reverence. When we truly encounter God, we canβt remain the same. His presence brings clarity, conviction, and awe.
So today, may we lift our eyes beyond the temporary, beyond our circumstances, and gaze upon the King who reigns forever. May our hearts be humbled, our lips be cleansed, and our lives be ready to say, βHere I am. Send me.β
