At Helen Bishop, we’re always looking for practical ways to support the people who walk through our doors.
This month, we’re topping up our shelves — and you’re welcome to be part of it! 💚

We’re collecting everyday toiletry items that our centre can share with families when needed.
If you’d like to help, here are a few useful items:

🧼 Soap & body wash
🪥 Toothpaste/toothbrushes
🌺 Sanitary pads
🧴 Lotion & deodorant
🍼 Baby wipes
🧻 Toilet paper

Pop in anytime and drop off what you can — big or small, it all keeps our community running smoothly

On Saturday, 13 December, City of Hope Church blessed our children with beautiful gifts, including toiletries, toys, clothes, and sweets.

Your kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness brought so much joy and excitement to our children. Moments like these remind us how powerful love and community truly are.

Decluttering with Purpose – Help Our Physio Department

As many people are sorting through their homes, we thought this might be a great time to ask for donations of a few specific items that can make a big difference in our Physio Department. These are things you may not usually think of donating, but they are incredibly valuable in therapy and rehabilitation.

Items we are currently in need of:
• Firm foam pieces (any size) – used for positioning and support
• Strong cotton or waterproof fabric (any size) – for therapy cushions and covers
• Velcro – essential for adaptive supports and equipment
• Buckles, clips or belts – used in positioning and safety aids
• Pool noodles – great for balance, strength and movement exercises
• Gym or rehab equipment
• Sturdy sensory, developmental or gross motor toys

We are also looking for a volunteer who would be willing to assist with small sewing projects, such as patching cushion covers or doing minor repairs.
Every donation, big or small, helps us continue providing effective and creative therapy for those who need it most. If you’re able to help or would like more information, please pop us a message
