At Helen Bishop Home, creating a safe and welcoming space for our residents is just as important as the daily care we provide. Recently, we’ve begun much-needed maintenance and repairs—from painting our wards to fixing everyday wear and tear.

These improvements are only possible because of the generosity of our sponsors and supporters. Your contributions help us not only care for our residents, but also ensure that they live in a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment.

Building a Brighter Future at Helen Bishop Home 🌟🏠

Helen Bishop Home is proud to share that we have been selected as beneficiaries of Anglo American PLC’s Ambassadors for Good volunteer programme. Through this grant, we have been able to secure the much-needed materials for painting our wards and updating our curtains — a step towards creating a more uplifting environment for our residents. We extend our sincere appreciation to Anglo American for their generosity and support.

This weekend, our committed volunteers will begin the painting project, generously offering their time and energy to improve our facilities.

Yet, the journey is not complete. The grant does not extend to essential roof repairs and further maintenance — improvements that are critical to ensuring the safety and comfort of those in our care.
