Your Body Needs Water To Function Properly, to fight off infections, to digest food, to get rid of things the body doesn't need, to help regulate the body's temperature, blood pressure, salt and sugar levels.
We tend to drink less water in winter to avoid feeling cold, whilst it's good to drink hot beverages to keep warm, these are usually consumed with sugar, the body needs water.
In summer we sweat and can easily tell when we are thirsty, this urge to drink water is often ignored in winter. In regulating the body temperature in winter the body burns a lot of calories to keep warm, this generates heat, the process requires water and also has us expelling water not through sweat as in summer, but through the water v***r we see on a cold day. On not so cold days, we still exhale the water v***r although we may not see it.
To help your body function well and avoid unnecessary illness, drink water This Winter
