Around the world through an artist’s eyes ✨️

The Journey Begins 🌍

The Plane (Thumb)
The set opens with a 3D plane pulling a banner with the ISPA logo( the banner is suspended in the air )flying through textured clouds created by mixing gel and acrylic. This nail represents creativity taking flight ✈️

The Artist’s Vision 🖼 Half Face & Planet
The next nail shows half of an artist’s face, with the Earth painted across the skin. This symbolises how artists view the world, not literally, but emotionally, through imagination, colour and perspective.

The Louvre Museum in Paris– Mona Lisa
One of the world’s most iconic artworks, painted in miniature. I've always dreamed of seeing her, I've actually been painting her each year to track my progress as a miniature portrait artist.

Netherlands 🌟Starry Night
A textured recreation of Van Gogh’s Starry Night using thickened gel, acrylic and layered colour to mimic the original oil-paint strokes. A raised 3D frame surrounds it, paired with a sculpted paintbrush tipped in blue and an artist’s palette. This nail shows the process of creation. Currently hung in the Museum of Modern Art in New York city ✨️

• England 🫖 Tea & Royal Culture
Inspired by English tradition and identity: a teacup and saucer, a London bus and a royal crown.

• World Map (Thumb)
A 3D sculpted globe made from polygel, held within a raised solid-gel frame. Tiny placement points mark the countries represented in this set, tying all ten nails together into one global artwork.

• India ☀️ Traditional Beauty
A portrait of an Indian woman adorned in elegant traditional jewellery. This nail celebrates detail, culture, colour and the richness of Indian heritage.

• South Africa 🇿🇦 Mandela
Representing my home: Nelson Mandela paired with a hand-sculpted 3D South African flag lapel. I love how many different artists portray Mandela, different yet the same 🇿🇦

• Thailand 🌸 Orchids & Golden Motifs
Thailand’s national flower, the orchid, sculpted in 3D with layered petals. The background features the traditional golden Thai patterned design found in temples and cultural art.

• Italy 🇮🇹 Leaning Tower of Pisa
A miniature Pisa tower with a 3D Italian flag and tiny 3D pizza. The background is a soft pigment sunset.

This set brings together culture, art, travel and technique, textured painting, 3D sculpture, gel and acrylic mixes, polygel, pigments and fine detail.
My vision was to show how an artist sees the world. 🙏

Eight bells 🔔 Hike 🏞 We really loved the views , river and plant life 🌿 ( wish we did this walk when it was protea season 😅 we did see some "speldekussings" )

There's different levels to this hike. You can choose the yellow, green ,red route for example. However 🤣 we where so busy chatting, laughing and looking at all the beauty around us... Basically we took a wrong route and ended up doing the most intense route. Everyone did super well though 👏 Not gonna lie... Its extreme hills and incline, but getting to the top was worth it 🏞 We also had a coffee in the restaurant and really enjoyed the entire vibe of the place ✨️
