Massage is not one-size-fits-all.

Some clients love extra attention on their shoulders or feet, while others really enjoy a gentle face massage. One of my regular clients prefers more time on her face and less head massage — so that’s exactly how I tailor her treatment.

Massage should never be something you fear.

I often meet people who tell me they stopped having massages because of a painful experience in the past.

Let me reassure you — a relaxation massage should never hurt.

During remedial or therapeutic work, there may occasionally be moments of deeper pressure to release specific tension. But even then, it should always feel purposeful and within your comfort level — never unbearable.
Your body is not something to “push through.” It is something to listen to.

Communication is always welcome during your session. If something feels too intense, we adjust. Your comfort and safety come first.

Massage should leave you feeling restored, not bruised or anxious.

🌿 A Very Special First Massage 🌿

Yesterday I had the privilege of giving a young client his very first massage — what an honour.

A first experience should feel safe, comfortable and positive. When introducing a child to bodywork, I take extra care to ensure the environment feels calm, respectful and reassuring, so that it builds trust and healthy awareness of their body.

For all clients under 16, a parent or guardian is required to be present for the full session. Creating a safe and professional space is always my priority.

It’s such a joy to see someone leave feeling relaxed and confident after their very first treatment. 🌿
