🚨 Incident Report – Attempted Theft at Scheepers Street 🚨

Client contacted our control room requesting assistance. Reaction officer K1 was dispatched and found that SAPS was already on scene.

It was confirmed that suspects had stolen 2x solar panel lights and attempted to remove copper pipes. However, they only managed to loosen the pipes as they were plastic.

Entry was gained through the back of the property. The suspects had also accessed the vacant house next door, where they successfully removed all copper piping.

The client has decided not to open a case. Both Reaction and SAPS have withdrawn from the scene.

A suspect was caught on camera during a break-in attempt — and thanks to our sharp-eyed control team and quick response from R17 and R15, the suspect was apprehended swiftly.

✅ All stolen goods have been recovered and returned to the owner.

🚨 Attempted Theft – John Jos Street, Klerksdorp
📅 23/07/2024
🕒 Alarm received – Response units K5 and K3 were dispatched.

Upon arrival, K5 searched the property and encountered a non-white male at the back of the premises. The individual claimed he was working there and cleaning the site. K5 requested Control Room to contact the client for verification. During this process, the suspect fled the scene.

🔎 Further inspection revealed:

Outside room door was open

Electrical cables were damaged

Various items were gathered together, including a trolley

Lock on the main gate had been removed

📞 The client declined SAPS involvement and does not wish to open a case.
✅ Response units stood down.

🚨 BREAK-IN ALERT – OR TAMBO STREET, Klerksdorp
14 July 2025

A break-in was reported this morning at Business, located in OR Tambo Street. The client called for CPI reaction and SAPS assistance.

Our officer K7 attended to the scene. Upon arrival, the client reported that the cash register was missing, and employees noticed that a ceiling vent had been forced open and damaged.

🔍 The number of stolen shoes and the amount of cash taken is still unknown. The cash register was later found dumped behind the toilets.

Investigation suggests that the suspects gained access through the roof, possibly from the adjacent building.

The client intends to open a case.

🚨 BREAK-IN ALERT – KLERKSDORP 14 July
Early this morning, CPI’s control room received a silent panic signal from Dawn Street, Klerksdorp.
Our armed response units K3 and K4 were immediately dispatched to the property.

On arrival, contact was made with client who confirmed that the gate had been lifted off the rail. While checking the perimeter, K4 noticed that the front door of the back house, which is not a CPI client, was standing open.

K4 made contact with the resident, who reported hearing a noise at the back door. Further inspection revealed that the front door lock had been forced open from the outside, although there were no signs of damage to the security gate.

Due to fast response nothing was stolen

🚨 ARMED ROBBERY – LA HOFF 🚨
This morning just after 06:00, an armed robbery took place at, corner of Ian & Odendaal Street.
Three suspects entered the premises – one armed with a firearm, another with a blunt object.
Several items stolen.

✅ Panic was activated.
💪 CPI Reaction Officer K11 Kobus responded swiftly.
🚓 SAPS was informed and a case has been opened.

Upon arrival, it was confirmed to be a positive break-in. Two holes were found in the front wall.
