The Management of Klerksdorp-Tshepong Hospital complex hereby express their sincere apology for being unable to render services as expected to the community they serve.

This was caused by the on-going shutdown by taxi operators in the KOSH area affecting both staff members and patients.
This unfortunate shutdown made it impossible for staff members to reach work or access work place in both Tshepong hospital and Klerksdorp hospital respectively. This has created strain and some services could not be offered.
Some staff members who were working night were affected by this shutdown and they were unable to reach their homes.

The hospital apologies for the inconvenience this shut down caused and would like to rebook those who missed their appointments.

Please note that due to staff shortage only Emergencies should go to Casualty.

Today we joined the world in commemorating World Kidney Day at Klerksdorp/ Tshepong Hospital Complex.

The event focused on raising awareness about kidney health and the importance of early detection and prevention of kidney disease. Healthcare professionals educated community members on healthy lifestyle choices, regular screening, and managing conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes that can affect the kidneys.

We appreciate everyone who participated and supported this important initiative. Let us continue to take care of our kidneys by drinking enough water, eating healthy, exercising regularly, and going for routine health check-ups.

Healthy kidneys for a healthier life🩵
