2018 - New Beginnings

Intro

They say ‘a change is as good as a holiday’ and they aren’t wrong! After almost 12 years trading as Makaranga Spa we have moved premises and rebranded ourselves as Asana Skin & Body.

With a deliberate move away from quantity focused treatments, we have created a fresh, boutique space where the discerning guest can enjoy customised and quality-driven therapies.

Why the name Asana? Well, quite simply, we liked it and together with its association to the holistic practice of Yoga, its choice made complete sense. The word Asana traditionally means ‘a comfortable seat’ and refers to the seated posture used for meditation.
