Despite restrictions starting to ease their stranglehold on the hospitality and tourism industry, the Makaranga management team have announced that the facilities at Makaranga will remain closed until at least the first quarter of 2021 with specific dates to be announced closer to the time.

According to Makaranga’s CEO, Colleen Wilson, over the lockdown period and then through the uncertainty about the time lines for opening up, the management team and board felt that this would be an ideal time to execute some changes and to breathe new life into a re-imagined Makaranga.

Bring a friend, colleague or partner and enjoy an aromatic or hydro-intensive classic facial using our professional Vitaderm range or a full body aromatherapy massage followed by a mezze platter and a bottle of Theuniskraal Moscato Rosé on the deck of The Library Bar.

The mezze platter includes: four panko-crumbed prawns, baby squid, cajun chicken livers, four vegetable wontons, two beef kebabs, hummus and ciabatta. Served with a sweet and sour sauce, a chilli and basil sauce and a sour plum sauce.
