Forecast for 2021 and next 5years
This may be a new year but unfortunately the Corona virus will continue to wreck havoc with many fatalities. I feel that in March things may ease a little and then we will have a 3rd and final wave with the changing of the season will be a more deadly mutated virus. June will see the W.H.O broadcasting the origins of the virus and this will result in lots of unrest and countries taking a stand against china, with some countries even demanding financial compensation to rebuild themselves. This will result in a new treaty document being signed by various countries preventing the development of viral warfare. There will be vaccines administered but they will be of little help to the new mutated strains. There will be latent side effects from some of the vaccines and others will prove to be successful. It will pay to be discerning in your choice of vaccine that you have administered.
Economy will be tough in SA and a few more businesses will require help. Foreign investment will assist in creating jobs and uplifting the economy. It will be very viable for foreign investors to open up companies and invest in the country. It will be a year of reconciling your losses of family and employment. It will be a time of becoming creative and innovative to survive.
More certified online schools will be affordable and suit a lot of learners as they can choose subjects that they will utilise in their chosen career. They can also study at a faster rate with less interruptions. This method of study will make schooling much safer and obtainable. Learners will finish school at a younger age and be able to enrol in university studies or schools geared for business savy, resulting in a higher number of learners getting their degrees or diplomas that are internationally accepted.
Houses in SA will become smaller and geared for community living. With the focus on sleeping and eating in your home and entertaining or meeting in the public lounges. Business will adapt to doing more online business and meetings and big offices will become redundant unnecessary places. With buildings converted to housing for the needy. Home offices will become the norm. Dealing with other countries will merely be a click away and the world will become more accessible. There will be a new platform developed for online chats and business meetings or for companies to manage their staff online .International business travel will become less and time saving online meetings will happen. This will result in business deals happening quicker and business will become fast paced.
People of SA will need to be frugal with their spending, and lots of common commodities will be regarded as luxuries. The rand will weaken, and then round October there will start to be growth and influx of foreign investments. The rand will become stronger by the end of the year and stabilize. There will be opportunities for people to do secretarial work or sales for other countries as it will be very viable for overseas companies to employ SA peeps and pay them less than locals but decent salaries for SA residents. This will help with the unemployment and strengthen out economy
People will become more accepting of homeopathic remedies and natural tinctures. There will be a move in mind-set to alternative healing and holistic natural remedies. The focus will be on quality rather than quantity.
A head statesman in SA will become ill and lots of illicit information will be exposed. This will result in a new political party forming with the focus on uplifting and removing corruption with more stringent laws being implemented. A point system will come into effect that will dictate how you adhere to the law. Bonus points will be awarded to individuals with no misdemeanours. This will be very beneficial as you could get reduced interest on loans, or food parcels ect. This will encourage the masses to work towards earning points and not going against the law, and reducing crime. Criminals will be incarcerated depending on the severity of their crimes or points can be deducted for a period of a few years. Resulting in savings for the government to utilise elsewhere. This will encourage most people to be law abiding and work for the betterment of themselves and the country. The points implemented will become world wide and can even affect your abilities to do foreign travel, preventing criminals from travelling from country to country. More civil citizens will be employed and more cameras and monitoring of streets will now be on a national network. Many of the cameras will be of a national network, resulting in less crime. Id documents will be easier to obtain once you have entered the points system.
With Africa opening up there will be a new passport system implemented allowing African countries to travel freely within Africa. There is also indication that a universal currency could come into operation in Africa, much like the euro in Europe. Making trade within Africa a lot easier.
There will be a move to change in the transport. More public transport will be utilised and people will earn points for preventing air pollution. There will be a massive change in the way cars are made and an incentive based option will come into operation. To buy a car on a monthly rental rather than own them, these cars will be run on hydrogen and be very effective even for distance travel. With this will come the development of new filing stations.
We will also develop a new conglomerate way of producing power. There will be various power sources producing power and combining into one national grid. Private people can install solar power cells in their homes or factories, the excess power can be sold to the national grid, and uploaded onto the grid.for others to utilise. This will result in small amounts of energy being constantly replenished on the grid by the the private sector.
We will see China investing in SA and other African countries, with national roads being built and eventually linking SA with the top of Africa on this National Freeway. This will result in more foreign African exchange and give a boost to the whole of Africa’s economy. There will be large amount of Chinese people living in Africa and more industry and manufacturing will be set up for export. This may end up being negative as the uneducated locals of the various countries of Africa may get exploited for menial salaries. China will be giving loans and investing in most of the countries that are earmarked for this “freeway” and it is highly likely that China will be funding the building of this “freeway” “gateway “ from one side of Africa to the Other. This could provide needed growth for Africa as a Whole, but I do fear that many of the poorer countries may be exploited. They may not be able to pay for the freeway but in return for China funding this they will be forced to give away some of their land, this could end up with Chinese stores, merchants, fuel, places to stay owned by the Chinese on either side along the “freeway” This would end up being prime trading land owned by the Chinese, this could end up being a detrimental sacrifice to the various countries for the reward of having the ‘Freeway’ Along with this change will come smaller living quarters that are seen in the east.
We will see UK Monarchy having less to do with the running of general things, and stepping back from most engagements. Queen Elizabeth will step down due to ill health and William and Charles will be given joint reign. Charles term will have a set end date of service then William will take over. Charles will not hold the title of king but rather a title of royal curator as such. There will be 2 divorces in the royal family. Megan and Harry will part ways as the media and culture is too different for both of them to be happy. They will part amicably and Harry will return to Britain. He will resume some of his responsibilities and some of his stripped titles will be reinstated back to him.
