This whole "Being Busy business" is exceptionally harmful to our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.

It teaches us that we are only of value if we produce, do, act, be of service....... instead of being completely, utterly and totally worthy simply because we ARE who we are.

We start defining ourselves through the outside world and are prepared to pay any and every price for it for on the flip side we created "feeling guilty" if we are not of "use" to others.

The assumptions of what others want, need, expect, think ... becomes our measuring stick for our worthiness and our right to occupy space in this world.

Yet we are not here to proof anything, we qualified long ago - otherwise we simply would not be here - and that's THAT !

We are here to learn, expand, discover (ourselves , others, the world ....) and chronic busyness prevents most of that.

Learn to sit still, BE, ALLOW, BREATHE - you have been worthy all along and will continue to be worthy simply by BEING YOU !!!

It has always been more than enough !!!!

God: Hello, My love.

Me: I have a pretty simple request today.

God: Go for it.

Me: I would like my life to be perfect.

God: Nope.

Me: Why not?

God: Because where would the fun be in that?

Me: Okay...can You at least help me make my life a little bit easier?

God: Sure. It's a pretty simple trick, actually.

Me: What do I do?

God: You need to stop blaming yourself for things that aren't your fault.

Me: I don't do that...do I?

God: Every day. Every time that you do that you are just borrowing more needless suffering that you have to carry around with you. Not everything bad that has happened to you is because of something you did.

Me: Yeah but -

God: Sometimes bad things will happen to you and it won't be because you did something wrong. You keep punishing yourself for events or problems that are beyond your control. You put yourself in an emotional prison for crimes that you did not commit.

Me: Sometimes it's easier to just take the blame myself.

God: And sometimes nobody is to blame. You live in a world of extreme finger pointing where everybody is obsessed with finding out who is to blame when things go bad - and you like to take a lot of that on your shoulders. It's all a self-inflicted wound. If you want your life to be a little easier quit punishing yourself.

Me: You are forgetting that I make a lot of mistakes.

God: Oh, I know you do. You make a ton of mistakes. Like, seriously, a ton of mistakes.

Me: Point taken..

God: I'm not talking about those mistakes. I'm talking about all of the times you take accountability for mistakes or situations that are clearly not your fault. I have kept track of all the hundreds of times that you either said "I'm sorry" out loud or thought it in your head last week. It turns out that only 2.8 % were situations in which you should have offered an apology. I didn't create you to have you spend your whole life apologizing.

Me: You're right. Sorry about that.

God:

Me: I'm joking!

God: I'm not. Stop burdening yourself with senseless guilt.

Me: How?

God: Grab a small slip of paper and write something down that you should have told yourself years ago...

Me: What's that?

God: I think you know.
