Tea Tree Hydrosol 🌳

This hydrosol holds the properties of tea tree in a gentler form than the Essential Oil , a hydrosols is a pure aromatic botanical water tha natural contain a small amount of tea tree essential oil and distilled tea tree

Tea tree is famed for its broad spectrum antimicrobial, anti bacterial , anti fungal activity and anti inflammatory

Therefore this Tea Tree Hydrosol has some of the following uses :

*Skin toner for dealing with blemishes and for oily skin
*Cleaning of wound and skin infection
*Surface disinfectant cleaning spray
*Spraying onto hands or clothing as a natural sanitizer spray
*Throat spray to help with infection ( avoid swallowing and only used tea tree internally as a hydrosol or very intentionally prepared spagyric essence - avoid use of straight Essential Oils internally as they are too strong for internal use ! )

Herbal Hydrosols💧🌿

What is a Hydrosol?

A Aromatic distilled Botanical water. yeiled through the process of steam distillation, where by the steam of pure water is passed through fresh plant material. This steam carries beneficial botanical compounds including essential oils and the steam droplets that pass through the plants are condensed into the pure hydrosol.

What can a Hydrosol be used for?

*Skin Mists / Toner
*Aromatic Room or Linen Spray
*Cleaning Surfaces
*Diluting or formulating natural cleaning products
*Can be used instead of plain water in formulating face mask, lotions , skin care products ,soaps ect.
*Culinary uses ( think Rose Water which is actually Rose Hydrosol.... some other Hydrosols can be used similarly)

How long does a Hydrosol last ?

They are best used within 6 months but can last for up to 12 or longer depending on how they are stored ( in a cool dark place)

Distilling more Eucalyptus Today and the Apothecary is smelling so so good !

The variety im working with is Eucalyptus Camaldulensis - its considered a highly invasive tree where i live (edge of Indigenous forests) and they grow SO fast so i have plenty of plant material to distill

There's actually a giant grandmother elephantine eucalyptus camaldulensis tree outside our house which is huge, its been thriving with bees lately drinking nectar and many creatures live in the tree it is also just so magnificent! (cue v my complex feeling about invasive plants)

There are also too many smaller tree dotted through the land and forests which we are trying to manage ( its actually a law with certain plants- high category nvasives ...)

So yes, im grateful for this Abundance of Eucalyptus around me that can enrich my work and benefit your health

Ps : Essential Oils and Hydrosols aren't on my website, only available through direct message or for a few weeks as im busy planning a big general much needed website revamp v soon
