And are you aware of how you actually are feeding those gardens?

Stay with me today as we explore not only how to create a thriving gut environment but also explore an exciting opportunity that starts TODAY!

You may have heard people share that saying when they talk about the mind,

“Your mind is a garden, your thoughts are the seeds. You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.”

So we know that with our thoughts we can create a positive mindset or negative mindset in our brain. However, did you know that your gut is also your second brain? And that is another garden that we really need to nurture.

Our gut is an extraordinary ecosystem thriving within us, sculpting not just your physical health but our overall well-being. So today I want to talk about our gut - the hard working hub of bacteria, fungi, and microorganisms that are crucial for digestion, immunity, and even regulating our moods. Particularly traumatic or repetitive stressful experiences in childhood actually shape the brain' structure. These responses not only dictate how the brain becomes organized but can interfere with the kind of development important to learning.
Severely abused children consistently associate the feeling of stress with negative, even life-threatening outcomes. Unless this pattern is counteracted and other brain pathways are created, these people continue to respond to the slightest sense of pressure or uncertainty as emergency, immediately falling into flight, fight or freeze mode.
When someone is in the flight or fight mode, the cerebral cortex becomes less active to prepare the body for instinctual troubleshooting responses. Reasoning and other higher thought processes are a much lower priority at that moment. If you're trying to change the behaviour of a child who becomes combative at the slightest sign of stress by trying to appeal to his sense of logic, you're working at a serious disadvantage because the reasoning part of the brain isn't working properly at that moment.
The problem for humans/animals who've survived extremely traumatic situations... this level of stress can damage the brain. The higher thought functions useful in regulating and modifying behavior are not encouraged to develop, and the fight, flight and freeze responses become dominant.

Powerful hormones like cortisol are released in the brain in response to stress. Some researchers have actually referred to cortisol as "brain acid" because it destroys these cells. In brain scans you can see dark holes of inactivity in brain of children who have experienced significant trauma or long term stress. The brain centers affected are functions related to thinking, memory, impulse control, and emotions.
To be encouraged to develop traits such as thoughtfulness, cooperation, respect, and intellectual curiosity, a person requires a secure and consistently responsive environment.
Resilience to stress is affected by how secure and safe (the child) feels with his or her caretaker.
Insecure children will continue to suffer from elevated levels of hormones like cortisol in contexts that simply don't faze the well-adjusted child. Other situations young children find distressing: such as when they are around repeated screaming and fighting, even if it's not being directed at them, or when they are cared for by a parent who is depressed and disengaged.

People who've grown up facing these challenges are more prone to score lower on intelligence test and do poorly at school, not because they are "stupid", but because their heightened responses make it difficult for them to function in situations others consider only mildly stressful. Short tempered, intimidating teachers who habitually put students on the spot plunge the emotionally unstable student into the flight, fight, freeze mode, a process which literally shuts down higher thought processes. The low self esteem resulting from failing tests scores and embarrassing classroom encounters further impairs learning as peers and role models categorize these people in increasingly negative terms.
People whose trainers/teachers believed them to be superior actually did better from the outset, and raised their achievement scores far above those of the "unintelligent" or emotionally insecure. People in positions of authority have a significant effect on those entrusted to their care/work environment.
Too many stress hormones flooding our system every day over years can cause numerous diseases and disorders. High blood pressure and damaged organs tell us the flight or fight response has been forced to go too far. There is just so much stress a human/animal is equipped to endure.

7 things that affect your vibration frequency from the point of view of quantum physics.

Vibration in quantum physics means everything is energy. We are vibrant beings on certain frequencies. Every vibration is equivalent to a feeling and in the world "Vibrational", there are only two species of vibrations, positive and negative. Any feeling makes you broadcast a vibration that can be positive or negative.

1ST - * thoughts *

Every thought emits a frequency to the universe and this frequency goes back to origin, so in the case, if you have negative thoughts, discouragement, sadness, anger, fear, all this comes back to you. This is why it is so important that you take care of the quality of your thoughts and learn how to cultivate more positive thoughts.

The people around you directly influence your vibration frequency. If you surround yourself with happy, positive and determined people, you will also enter this vibration. Now, if you surround yourself with people complaining, gossiping and pessimist, be careful! Indeed, they can reduce your frequency and therefore prevent you from using the law of attraction in your favor.

3TH - * the music *

Music is very powerful. If you only listen to music that talks about death, betrayal, sadness, abandonment, all this will interfere with what you are feeling. Pay attention to the lyrics of the music you listen to, it could reduce your vibration frequency. And Remember: you attract exactly what you feel in your life.

4TH - * the things you look at *

When you look at programs that deal with misfortunes, dead, betrayals, etc. Your brain accepts this as a reality and releases a whole chemistry into your body, which affects your vibration frequency. Look at things that do you feel good and helps you vibrate at a higher frequency.

5TH - * the atmosphere *

Whether it's at home or at work, if you spend a lot of time in a messy and dirty environment, it will also affect your vibration frequency. Improve what surrounds you, organize and clean your environment. Show the universe that you are fit to receive much more. Take care of what you already have!

6TH - * THE WORD *

If you claim or speak wrong about things and people, it affects your vibration frequency. To keep your frequency high, it is essential to eliminate the habit of complaining and bad talking about others. So avoid drama and bullying. Assume your responsibility for the choices of your life!

7TH - * GRATITUDE *

Gratitude positively affects your vibration frequency. This is a habit you should integrate now into your life. Start to thank for everything, for the good things and what you consider to be bad, thank you for all the experiences you've experienced. Gratitude opens the door for good things to happen positively in your life.

If you are caught in "Corona Virus Craziness" at the moment and not sure what to do, the BEST thing you can do for yourself and your family is to find the Blessings in the Corona Virus.

Doing this as a written exercise will strengthen you at a level of Body, Mind and Soul.

On an Emotional level, this exercise will create a sense of calm, ease and centeredness.

On a Physical level, when you identify the blessings, your immune system will be strengthened.

On a Mental level, you will be able to think clearly and not get caught up in the fight or flight panic and confusion of your reptilian brain.

On a Spiritual level, you will be able to transcend the experience and see the situation in an integrated way without oscillating between polarities.


As an example here are my 5 Blessings of the Corona Virus.


🍀👉 1. Cocooning and Connection

One of the strategies for decreasing the risk of infection has been called "Social Distancing."

After looking at the stats and the "maths" of this virus. I believe that this is a prudent and essential strategy right now and not "panic based."

However, I don't like the words "social distancing."

What is needed is "physical distancing" - you distancing yourself from others and not interacting physically to ensure that the virus doesn't spread exponentially.

This doesn't mean that you can't still connect with the people you love.

We are incredibly lucky to live in a world that is so technologically connected.

I've experienced this first hand in the past year living in the country.
Although I am physically distanced from my family and close friends, most of my connections with them have never felt stronger.

This is not a time of isolation, but a time being on your own cocooning, transforming and connecting in meaningful ways by using the incredible technology at your disposal.

It is a time for you to cocoon and "nest" in your own space and yet still build robust, loving and caring connections with yourself and others.


🍀👉 2. Crown Chakra Transformation

Did you know that Corona means "Crown"?

Last year I did deep work with my 7 Levels of Abundance Program students on the 7 Chakras (and clearing scarcity to experience true abundance). Thus I know it is no coincidence that the name of this virus is asking us to focus on our CROWN chakras.

In a world that has been so focused with productivity, 'busy-ness', action and power, this virus is calling us to cocoon, connect, be creative, take care and spiritually connect to our Crown Chakra.

If we heed this call, then more wisdom, understanding, enlightenment and a feeling of connection to the unity of all things will flood into the planet.

Goodness knows we need that.

So during your cocooning time, enjoy your spiritual practices – whatever those may be – prayer, meditation, reading, chanting, story-telling, dancing etc.

And if you don't have any regular spiritual practices, then perhaps now is the time to consider what works for you.


🍀👉 3. Creativity

As your "normal life" gets disrupted by the virus, and you are no longer distracting yourself with your everyday busy-ness, external activities or a crazy travel schedule, you now have the opportunity to consider:

1. What's important to you?

2. What are your Dreams and Goals for the future?

3. How do you want to spend this extra time creatively?

4. What are your gifts and talents that you wish to give to the world?

Perhaps now you have that extra time to do an online course you've been putting off or start writing that book or create that side-hustle business or take out those paints that are buried in a box and just play with them.

There is a story circulating about how in the 1600s during the Bubonic plague, Isaac Newton retired to a small farmhouse where he self-isolated for 2 years and during that time developed calculus, optics and gravitational theory.

His most profound and lasting work came from this time of "cocooning" and intense creativity.

Wouldn't it be fantastic in hindsight to look back at this time and see it as the blessing that gave you time to develop your contribution to the world?


🍀👉 4. Corporate Re-thinking

The world has been ripening for the end of the "9-to-5-going-to-an-office-corporate-slavery-model" for over two decades.

If you work for an "old paradigm" company or organisation, you've probably been feeling the unhappiness, restriction and constraint of an old, outdated model for awhile.

I'm wondering if this Corona Virus will be the tipping point that finally allows companies to trust employees to work from home, self-manage and have the freedom to create results as responsible adults.

And I'm curious if this Corona Virus will move employees into a sense of responsibility, accountability and empowerment so that they can give their true gifts and best version of themselves to their companies.

This is my sincere wish and hope for every employer and employee because the Master-Slave archetype and dynamic is disempowering for everyone.

I feel tremendously blessed that my current Fairy Godmother team is dotted around the world - Pretoria, the Philippines, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Bangladesh.

I have never had a smoother, more seamless and connected team — all in self-empowerment, responsibility and freedom.

That's what I wish for every organisation and person in the working world.


🍀👉 5. Care and Wellbeing

Now is the time to focus on your self-care and wellbeing – body, mind and soul.

If you've done my Dreams & Goals with Soul Program, you'll know that I teach that WELLBEING is the foundation for manifesting whatever you want.

If you only focused on wellbeing and nothing else 95% of your Dreams & Goals will manifest.

Thus the blessing I see in this Corona Virus is a call to care and wellbeing.

Caring for Yourself –

Body: eating well, resting, exercising, breathing deeply, hydrating, sunlight – all are building your immune system.

Mind: Focusing on ease and inspiration. Staying Present. Meditating.

Mindfulness. (Staying away from unnecessary media and toxicity).


Soul: Spiritual practices, Time in Nature and Connection.

Caring for Loved Ones – through listening, kindness and compassion.

Caring for your Community, Country and the World – through focusing on your blessings, "physical distancing", kindness and compassion.



As we all navigate through these extraordinary circumstances, may we keep coming back to ease, centeredness, compassion, creativity, connectedness and care.

I wish all 5 of these CROWN (Corona) Blessings for you and me.
