I’ll be honest, I’ve never been comfortable in front of a camera. I come from a generation where pointing a camera at yourself, talking into it, or taking a ā€œselfieā€ felt a little… vain.
It’s something I’ve had to do quite a bit with Donna’s Online, but the honest truth is that it still feels a little uncomfortable for me.

That said, so many of you have asked for more educational videos, and I know this is one of the best ways to share, teach, and bring truth to an industry that truly needs some fixing.

So often when I walk into the studio, I can see and feel the weight so many of you carry - the silent burdens of parenthood, work, running a business, family, and life.

The truth is… we’re all carrying something.

Our purpose has never been only to guide you through movement and lifestyle. It’s also to be here for you - to hold space for your struggles, to be a pillar when you need one, and to remind you that you are never alone.

We talk.
We use music.
We use humour.
We move with purpose.
But sometimes… I can still feel the weight that lingers.

While studying stress management and psychology recently, I came across a powerful technique: the stress journal method. I wanted to bring that same sense of release into our studios, and that’s how ā€œThe Worry Drop Boxā€ was born.

Sometimes, the simple act of writing something down is the first step in letting go.

šŸ’› Try it. You might be surprised at how much lighter you feel when you walk away. My hope is that once those worries are placed in the box, you can move with your whole heart, breathe deeper, and walk out feeling blessed to move, stronger, and less weighed down than when you arrived. ā¤ļø

Just yesterday, we spoke about how Donna’s is for everyone, and I would say TaeCrossā„¢ļø (Cardio Kickboxing and Cross Training) is the most versatile in this regard. We can adapt and do just about anything to meet anybody where they are, even if that means working with a moonboot! This is the perfect example of that, with such an incredible array of creative modifications.

Also, you will see the caption ā€œBe stronger than your excuses.ā€ on Lou's top... Another perfect example right here… B was clearly stronger than what I would call a pretty valid excuse.
