A community festive . summer holiday cleanup is envisioned. Having noted all the positive comments on the following webpage https://www.goodthingsguy.com/environment/uncle-green-thumbs-hailed-for-gorgeous-garden-in-kuils-river/ residents have an opportunity to contribute to this exciting endeavour. For now the activity will be confined to weeding There is no water available for new plantings. For early risers lets start from say 7: 30 am. Those wishing to start earlier are welcome to do so.

Many Kuils River residents affected by pollution from the Kamal Cisco steel mill boycotted a stakeholder meeting at the mill on the night of Thursday, 22 June, claiming that management of the steel mill was ‘manipulating attendance’ to stifle criticism.
