We want to thank you for the dedication, compassion, and hard work you show every day while serving our community. Your work is not always easy, and we know that you cannot attend to everyone at once. Sometimes frustration leads to disagreements, but please know it comes from difficult circumstances and never from a lack of appreciation.

Your commitment to helping others does not go unnoticed. We see the difference you make in the lives of so many people.

🌟 Wees ’n Held – Rapporteer Mishandeling 🌟

As deel van hierdie maand se 365 Dae van Kinderbeskerming-tema word ons personeel en vrywilligers aangemoedig om aktief en volgehoue gemeenskapsbewustheid te bevorder rondom kindermishandeling, verwaarlosing en uitbuiting.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Gemeenskappe speel ’n lewensbelangrike rol in die beskerming van kinders. Gewone mense – soos jy en ek – kan lewens red deur waarskuwingstekens raak te sien, hul stem te laat hoor en bekommernisse aan te meld. 🗣️

🔍 Deurlopende bewusmaking help om veilige omgewings te skep waar kinders gesien, gehoor en beskerm word. Wanneer ons gesinne, bure en gemeenskapslede met kennis en moed bemagtig, bou ons saam ’n netwerk van alledaagse helde wat opstaan vir kinders se regte, veiligheid en waardigheid. 💙

✨ Die uitdrukking “nie alle helde dra mantels nie” herinner ons daaraan dat ware heldedade dikwels skuil in gewone dade van deernis, toewyding en dapperheid. Jy hoef nie ’n superheld te wees om ’n verskil te maak nie – jy moet net omgee en optree. 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Children have rights! Exposure to domestic violence causes lifelong trauma, hindering psychological development and social integration. Often these children suffer physical, sexual and emotional abuse, creating a vicious cycle. The Children's Bill of Rights protects them in theory, but it's our responsibility to shield and heal as many children as we can.
